2022 Moreland Waste

Collection Calendar
All your waste services are collected on the same day. GARBAGE and RECYCLING
are collected weekly. FOOD AND GARDEN ORGANICS is collected fortnightly.
Only items placed inside your bins will be collected. Bin lids must be fully closed.

WEEKLY GARBAGE Only 23% of what goes in the average Moreland garbage bin should actually
be sent to landfill. That’s 77% of garbage that could have been recycled, recovered or composted.
Moreland residents send around 30,000 tonnes of waste to landfill every year, so even just a small
reduction can make a big difference to our environment and future.
