Haryana Day

Harshita 4 B: “Mornings are beautiful because it starts with your


love that stays all day long.”

Namaskar everyone!

A very cheerful morning to one and all assembled here.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to respected Principal


Ma’am, Shina ma’am and our beloved students to today’s special
assembly.

Avyam 5 C : The vibes around, tell a beautiful tale, which is truly


unforgettable. As we say दे शा मह दे श हरियाणा, जित दध
ू दही का खाना

So, today we all have gathered here for Haryana Day celebrations.
One of the many festivals that keep the state of Haryana in a festive
spirit almost all the time is Haryana Day Festival. This festival is
celebrated to commemorate the day when the state of Haryana was
carved out of Punjab in 1966. This year we will celebrate, the 53th
Haryana Day all over the state on 1st November. Today, we all are
going to witness some memorising and awestruck performances.
So, without further ado, let’s begin the Haryana Day Solo Dance
Competition. But before we begin the celebration, I would like to
take this opportunity to invite Respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs
Savita Dalal to address us with her words of motivation.

 Thank you so much ma’am.

Harshita: “Don't look at your feet to see if you are doing it right.
Just dance.” Without taking a lot of time, let’s begin the
programme. So, Let’s welcome our first performer of the day, Arav
from class 4A (DANCE 1) Let’s welcome him with a round of
applause.

This was a really lovely and captivating performance.

Avyam : Our next performer is, Harnoor from class 4B. (DANCE 2)
Let’s welcome her with a round of applause.

That was really amazing.

Do you know that Haryana is the first Indian state to have 100%
rural electrification? You would feel happy to know that Haryana is
the first ever Indian state to have 100% rural electrification which is
really an interesting fact that nobody knows.

Now, let’s call Manya of 4C (DANCE 3)on stage for next dance
performance.

That was really an amazing performance!

Harshita : This is yet another interesting fact that most of the people
do not know about Haryana that Haryana is the largest exporter of
basmati rice. For a long time, Haryana is the main hub of basmati
rice.

Now it’s time for our next performance, so let’s welcome on stage
Khanak of 4c. (DANCE 4)

Wow, that was an electrifying performance!


Avyam:The lively people of the north Indian state of Haryana have a
dance performance for every occasion such as weddings, religious
festivals, sowing of the crops and harvesting them, monsoon rains,
child birth etc. They have a unique zest for life that reflects in their
varied dance forms. Their traditional and folk culture is reflected from
their dances. The types of dances performed in the Haryana state are
Bam Lehri, Ratvai Dance, Daph Dance, Gangore Puja, Holi Dance,
Teej Dance, Chaupaiya, Jhumar Dance, Gugga Dance, RasLeela etc.

Harshita: Now, it’s time to see some more mesmerising performances


on stage. Let’s welcome Nehal of class 5A on stage. (DANCE 5)

Wow, that was an outstanding dance performance!

Dancing with passion, brings us into a more elemental and


archetypical frame of mind. This mesmerizing, powerful and
spectacular dancing performance demands full body integration.

Now let’s call Ojasvi of class 5 A (DANCE 6)on stage for her dance
performance.

Let’s give her a round of applause for such an electrifying


performance!

Avyam: Let us have another participant on stage. So, let’s welcome


Pranjay from class 5B (DANCE 7) with an amazing dance
performance.

What a foot tapping performance! Let’s give a huge round of applause.

Harshita: Now let’s welcome our next performer. We have Janvi from
5B (DANCE 8) coming to set the stage on fire. Let’s welcome her with
a round of applause.

What a scintillating performance! I feel lost in these tune-dipped


music notes.

Avyam: Now, it’s time to see some more mesmerising performances


on stage. Let’s welcome Diksha from class 5B on stage. (DANCE 9)

Harshita: Let us have another participant on stage. So, let’s welcome


Smridhi from 5B with an amazing dance performance. (DANCE 10)

Avyam: Now let’s welcome our next performer. We have Palak from
5B coming to set the stage on fire. Let’s welcome her with a round of

I hope you all have enjoyed all the mesmerizing performances.

Avyam: It is a matter of great honour and pleasure to appreciate and


acknowledge the students who performed with great zeal and
enthusiasm. So let’s congratulate all the participants for the catchy
and captivating performance. We all enjoyed it thoroughly.
Harshita: So, by the time results are being prepared, I would like to
request Shina ma’am to come on stage and share her motivating
words.

Avyam: Thank you ma’am. Now, I would like to call our


Coordinator Rashmi Pahel Ma’am for announcing the results.

Conclusion by Rashmi Ma’am : First of all on behalf of entire TLS


Parivar, my warm and heartfelt wishes for Haryana Day to everyone
and many Congratulations to all the participants for putting up a
spectacular show! As they, “ No matter if you win or loose, the most
important thing is to enjoy what you do.” So without further ado, let
me announce the results, so the 3rd position goes to __________ 2nd
position goes to __________ and now it’s the time to announce the
name of the participant who has grabbed the first position. _______.
One again my sincere thanks to all the teachers, students and the
parents who have joined us online, you all have radiated a source of
energy within us today.

Let’s conclude today’s celebrations with National Anthem . So I


would request everyone to rise for National Anthem.
