Instruction: This exercise will be a practice on your end in evaluating mission statements, a needed
skill in writing your own. As such, you are to read and analyze the following statements on the basis
of the nine essential components ofa mission statement. Listed on the table are the components. Write
“Yes” or “No” on the columa beside each component to indicate whether you feel that that particular
componentis included or not. On the last column, if you answered “Yes,” write the specifie statement
that corresponds to the component. If you answered “No,” write a proposed statement that encompass
that component. The first two is done for you.
