TG - 0001 - RETAINING WALL ANALYSIS
The analysis uses Nastran Patran software, which afterward also be validated using manual
calculation. According to the given forces (active and passive forces, the pile will be obtained
pressure about 78 MPa.
F.4 Conclusion
According to the bending stress maximum that may occur at the pile, I am confident to say
that the material concrete that is used would not sufficient to received the possibility
maximum forces. Hence, I strongly recommend to upgrade the radius to at least 213 mm
(Diameter = 426 mm = 16,8 Inch)

TG - 0001 - RETAINING WALL ANALYSIS
According to the calculation and simulation software, after the diamater is changed to
be 426 mm ( about 16,8 Inch), the material would have bending stress at around 1,21 x
10^4 kPa (12,1 MPa), which is locating at 1,2 meters above the ground. This bending
stress would be sufficient enough for the using material which has maximum bending
stress capacity in 12,7 MPa.
