My Life Be Like

I was born November 23rd, 1995 in Orlando, Florida. Two years later my sister was born. My

parents got divorced when I was four years old. My dad suffered from alcoholism. The years following

was rough due to tensions between my parents. We were used as collateral between their personal

issues. After a couple years my mom remarried and we moved to Clermont. A year after this my father

moved to California. All throughout middle school my sister and I would go visit him in the summers. I

never got along too well with my step father at the time. I was still holding on to my feelings of my

father being there. My mother ended up divorcing my step father when I was 13. We went to go live

with my grandparents for a year until my mothers saved enough to buy a house for us. When I was 14

my dad moved to Clermont. I went to go to move in with him. This was short lived due to our clash of

personalities. Around 18 months later he started up a relationship with a woman that my mother

despised. Us going to see him became a huge issue with our mom. It began to become of if you go to see

him your choosing her over me type of situation. With this plus previous altercations with my father I

decided to stop talking to him completely at 15. It wasn’t until I got my DUI at 19 that I began talking at

all with my father. It wasn’t for another couple years until we even had any sort of relationship. In 2018 I

moved for Tallahassee to attend Florida state university. This was going well until I began dealing with

some issues out of my control. I reverted to old habits which unfortunately led me to altercations with

local law enforcement. Due to these altercations I spent 20 months in the county jail until my present

time here at the Phoenix house. I had a lot of great memories in between all these major issues. I’ve

done a bit of traveling. I’ve made amazing friends. My family loves each other unconditionally. I have

always kept my health. Overall my life has been nothing short of an adventure.
