GROUP PROJECT (30%)

Students are to form a group of 4/5 (lecturer’s discretion). 
Students are required to write a report on importance and current issues pertaining to: 
 Insurance planning
 Investment planning

(topics/subtopics will be given by lecturer) 

Students may also highlight any information such as statistics (may compare Malaysian
situation with other countries too), latest news and any other necessary information to
discuss the current issues pertaining to the topics/subtopics chosen. 
Report format should include (but not limit to) the following:
 Title
 Acknowledgement
 Summary
 Table of Contents
 Introduction
 Background
 Purpose
 Body 
 Importance
 Current issues
 Statistical information
 Any other related information
 Conclusion
 Recommendations
 References
 Appendices

Maximum number of pages for the report is 20 pages. Fonts and Spacing: In general, use font
such as ‘Times New Roman’. Fonts should be a minimum of 12 point and 1.5 line spacing is
recommended. Titles and headings may be in bold.
