serious business
At Atlan, we hire interns for core functions like building
apps, customer happiness, and product enablement. Just
because somebody is 18 years old, doesn't mean they
can't work alongside us like regular team members.

Many of our interns have extended their internships,

completed consecutive internships, or joined us full time
after they graduated.
2 Ownership and impact from day one
At Atlan, we are building products that will power countless data teams around the world and help them win
with data. Just like GitHub created a home for engineering teams, Hubspot created a home for marketing
teams, we're creating a home for data teams. As an intern at Atlan, you will get the opportunity to work on
projects that will leave a legacy for the world.

You will work alongside our team on live projects—speak to our users and understand their pain points, think
of possible solutions, build these features and push them live.

As someone at their first internship working on a product that
touches people’s lives is an adventure in itself. From not
knowing what metadata means to owning features in just a
few weeks, Atlan gives you the power to explore, build and
conquer.
When you work on a product at Atlan, you get to learn new stuff and
guess what? Your ideas will be shipped to real users from someone like
Milkbasket checking their orders and inventory on Collect at 6am every
morning or someone doing a survey to improve the lives of refugees
halfway across the world. That’s what makes you push yourself harder
and ship the highest quality of work possible.

3 Join a community

When you intern with Atlan, you become part

of a community. We regularly contribute to
open-source projects and host meetups to
bring together people from various background
such as technology, engineering and startups.

We also actively create avenues for Atlanians,

including our interns, to participate in
conferences and learning programs to help
them grow exponentially.

Frontend at Atlan is exciting because we're building interfaces for
everyone from small NGOs to the world's largest companies.
Yesterday I was working on a dashboard for the Government of
India, and today I’m building tools for professional analysts.

Interning at Atlan has been one of the most enriching
experiences of my life. In retrospect, I can identify what it
is that made my time here so memorable, and it is
something that remains true to this day: a culture of trust
and collaboration that shines through, palpable even to
those afar. During my time here, I have attended crucial
meetings, built impactful features, owned critical
modules and presented department-wide roadmaps, all
while being an intern. Through conversations over lunch
and discussions at the desk, I have gotten the chance to
learn transformative lessons about both life and
engineering. In summary, therefore, I can say that I have
been fortunate to be present in a workplace that, long
ago, stopped feeling like one.

Even though I had joined as an Intern, from Day 1 I never felt my scope of work was
defined by my role, such is the culture at Atlan. I could contribute to projects in various Priyanka Thakran
teams and my feedback was appreciated. I was given complete ownership to execute Customer Happiness Team,
my ideas and was constantly encouraged to build and improve upon them. Everyone former Intern
here is super helpful and super talented, so you are guaranteed to learn a lot!

only if you can pursue it full-time or part-time with your regular college.

What to do
Resumes sent in without a note or email are usually rejected without a second thought, no matter how awesome
they are. (Pro tip: Unlike most companies, we don’t care for long love letters. A short genuine note works best.)
While applying to Atlan, make sure that you show us what you can do instead of a ramble about your skills.

Research the role and tell us exactly why you want to work with us.

What not to do
Don’t tell us how you really want to learn “engineering” or this would be a great opportunity for you. Tell us why
you uniquely will make a mark on Atlan before you leave.
