School Government In Action

This year the Student Council came to the aide of ten

needy Oak Lawn/Hometown families by collecting 2.895
non-perishable food items. They also held a Flower-
Gram Sale to raise funds for their club. Sevent h grade
Student Council members also pampered the teachers
during "Teacher Apprec iation Week" by distributing
little treats to the staff each day. To culminate the
week's activities, the eighth grade studen ts provided
the staff with a delicious breakfast on Friday, just to say
"thank you" to the staff for their hard work and dedication.
All work and no play? NO WAY ! The Student Council
also held three dances for the students of McGugan

Melody: "It's A Small World"

As we go through school in our junior high,

We will do our best as the days go by;
In our sports we'll excel ,
In our studies as well;
We're McGugan Junior High!
We're the Mustangs, we 're the best!
orth or south or east or west,
We excel above the rest;
We're McGugan Junior High!
When we graduate from this junior high,
We will treasure memories as years go by;
All the friends we have met,
We will never forget;
We're McGugan Junior High!
We're the Mustangs, we're the best!
North or south or east or west,
We excel above the rest;
