Method of execution of Temporary Formwork Structure of Cantilever Pier Arm

Execution of temporary formwork taking an important role on site.

Step-1 :- Mark the Location for Bolting on pier and drilled as per size of bolts
shown in drawing
Step-2:- Place Brackets over pier face as shown in drawing.

Step3:- By using Crane Lift, Temporary structure frame of Arm-1 (Part-1 ) lift up at
top of pier and place it at its positions and bolted it properly . After fixing Arm-1
(part-1) another part of Arm-1 fix. Similarly, All Frames cast in similar way.
Step4:- Place all primary ,secondary members. All primary and secondary
members should be temp weld with frame structure.
Step 5:-Provide camber over secondary members as per displacement required
.Displacement is shown in report.
Step-6:- After fixing all Arms ,Ready for next steps for pier formwork. Place
bottom of vertical sheet place over brackets and fix it with Wallers with specified
spacing. Place packing between Frame arm end and vertical sheet for support.
Step-7:- After completing of frame work , fix shutter plates of pier arm . All
shutters’ plates should be tie with support steel Wallers, prop adopter etc .
 Removing of Temporary Formwork Structure of Cantilever Pier Arm

After concrete gaining strength, removing formwork procedure need to be start

for to cast next structure. By Using Crane, demolding the Temporary Structure of
pier arm. There are some steps to be followed: -

Step-1 :-Remove all shutters plates and supports over top of temporay frame.

Step-2:- Place a crane at suitable position to handle easily. Before opening Crane
arm Crane pilot should be checked the strength of steel rope able to bear
structure load. The structure of max weight aprox. 100KN.
Step-3:-Now, hold the Structure tightly before removing Bolts from the Splices
Connections.
Step-4:- After holding structure tightly by steel Rope which is attach with the
Crane, Then remove the bolts from Splice connection joints.
Step-5:- After Removing Bolts, Loose Structure and move out little down for to
remove items like shutter plates etc.
Step-6:- Removing all items over structures, lift down structure with balancing it.

Step- 7:- Similarly, Other Part of Temporary structure lift down.
