1.1 Overview
The intent of this BIM Execution Plan (BEP) is to provide a framework that will let the Team members
deploy building information modeling (BIM) technology and best practices on this project faster and more
cost-effectively.
This document delineates roles and responsibility, the detail and scope of information to be shared,
relevant business processes and supporting software, information exchange and final handover as outlined
in the EIR.
The BEP is prepared by the Team members together to demonstrate the proposed approach, and the
capability, capacity and competence of the delivery team and supply chain to meet the EIR.
This BEP will be a living document - revised and updated as necessary by the project team to reflect
changes in BIM development that occur during project execution

• ISO 19650-1:2018
• ISO 19650-2:2018
• ISO 19650-3:2020
• ISO 19650-5:2020

The LEAD APPOINTED PARTY is to work with APPOINTING PARTY to establish project segregation.
The agreed approach is to be documented in the BEP.
Each originating APPOINTED PARTY should develop and fully understand the method for developing
BIMs to coordinate and support the outputs required. It is advised that models are segregated into
multiple linked models, and the strategy for this is to be incorporated into the project BEP.

Management
BEP
01
• Lead and manage the BIM process with overall responsibility for the
development and delivery of BIM Project Execution Plan and
Implementing BIM protocols and strategy for the project.
• Act as lead contact for BIM related items for all relevant project
stakeholders and manage collaboration among all parties.
• Ensure the deliverables are issued on schedule and in accordance
with the BIM development program.
• Organize and conduct BIM project meetings
• Coordinate with BIM Coordinators on monitoring the BIM progress
and compliance with the BIM PXP.
BIM Manager • Facilitate the use of composite trade models in construction
coordination/ clash mitigation meetings and provide clash detection
reports by the identification and resolution of all hard and soft
collisions within agreed tolerances for construction.
• Responsible for overall BIM Quality Control
• Responsible for preparing overall BIM Progress Report and
Dashboards.
• Defines the BIM roles and responsibilities for the project team.
• Review and approve models and documentation for submission;
• Facilitate the transfer of information across the CDE platform(s).
BEP
01
• Act as BIM Model Manager on their respective discipline.
• Formulates the BIM strategy with the BIM Manager.
• Participation in design reviews & coordination workshops &
resolution of model discrepancies.
• Maintain their respective discipline models throughout the project.
• Conduct regular BIM QA/QC checks.
BIM Coordinator by • Record and manage registers, BIM-related issues, RFI’s, and design
Discipline changes received.
(Architectural, Structural, • Ensure that all information received is documented and are updated
MEP) in the BIM on time.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the BIM Manager and other BIM
Coordinators.
• Review BIM models and documentation for sharing or submission;
• Will coordinate between teams/disciplines to minimize clashes
• Will coordinate between teams/disciplines to ensure maintainability
of E&M installations.
01
• Responsible for MEP modeling works.
• Work under the direction of MEP Coordinator.
• Generate CSD (Coordinated Services Drawings) and ISD (Individual
Services Drawings) from the BIM model as required.
• Capture and highlight any discrepancies found in BIM to BIM
MEP Modeler Coordinator.
• Ensure the geometric and information accuracy on BIM modeling;
• Provide input for CBWD
• Provide input for openings on ABWF works (e.g. ceiling panel
openings for E&M services, ceiling access panels, cladding openings,
etc.)
BEP
01
• Work in progress: Information being developed by its originator or task team, not accessible by
anyone else
• Shared: Information approved for sharing with other appropriate delivery teams or with the
appointing party
• Published: Information authorized for use for a construction or for asset management
• Archive: Journal of information transactions, providing an audit trail of information container
development
The successful implementation of CDE will include conducting workshops to ensure the information
management and delivery requirements are understood by the project team.
CDE solution and workflow is to enable the development of federated information models from different
task teams.
01
This workflow below will also be undertaken ad-hoc as required to support project delivery.
The delivery team confirm that classification of information within information containers should be in
accordance with Uniclass 2015 (ISO 19650-2 NA.4.4).
01
Example:
WZ1-ZIG-V4-01-M1-A-001-S01-P01
The naming and coding of other fields: volume, system, level, location, type, role number, status and
revisions to be applied across projects should be specified by the project team.
Arrangements should be made about the naming and coding of the storeys, zones, rooms, and objects be
the project team .
The project shall carry out checks based upon the Construction BIM Specification, under QA/QC
Requirements to ensure the BIM project’s compliance throughout the project.

3.11 Security
The delivery team will use concepts and principles included in the ISO19650-5 to manage security
processes related to BIM.
We confirm we are aware of out a duty of confidentiality and responsibility to safeguard all Owner
information and/or data that they provide and/or access (particularly sensitive ones - for example, CCTV/

Since the employer’s BIM model will be developed to the Construction BIM model, the existing model
breakdown structure shall be used as a base reference to further develop the project’s federation strategy.
This approach will help the team to cut time and ease effort on setting-up the model breakdown structure
as well as preventing loss of information embedded in the models.

4.1 Software Platforms
Confirm the Software Platform and versions
The following are the software platform and version to be used in the project:
a. Intel Core i7 (10 generation) 16GB RAM 4GB NVIDIA GRAPHICS RAM 1TBHDD
b. Size: 1GB for information models and 100MB for other documents
such as;
Formal Information exchanges will be adopted in order to support key decision stages and/or milestones in
the project and they should be exchanged prior to the end of a stage to advise the decision gateways.
For this project, RIBA stages are used and information exchanges are as follows:
