MAR-227 DISSERTATION-II

STAGE_IV PREFINAL

The Pre final stage of Dissertation-II is scheduled on 13/06/2022

Presentation of not more than 30 slides.
The stage would be marked out of 20 marks.

The review should include the following:

1. Progress as per detailed chapterization/discussion.

2. Case studies (at least two):
i) Final presentation of the case studies specially focusing the case study parameters mentioned
in previous stage or as required for the research topic.
ii) Final inferences must be concluded by comparative analysis which may be used for
design/research purposes.
iii) Identifying the process/procedure of application of the system/service in the building.
iv) Also incorporate the changes as suggested in previous review.

Most of the points mentioned above have already been covered completely or partly in your
previous stages, you just need to refine them if already covered or mention them if not covered.

3. Comparative analysis
Analysis should lead to the selection of system or criterion for design/research. Final inferences
may also be concluded.

4. Design/Analysis Parameter: (if required)

i) The detailed framework for incorporating a particular system into the building design.
ii) Highlighting the key parameters for incorporation of the service to the building design.

5. Formation of a Matrix:

i) Guidelines for integrating a particular system/Service into the building.

ii) Highlighting the prerequisites of integration.
iii) Identifying effect of integration on the building (Comparative Analysis of the building pre
and post integration).

6. Design of the service/system: (if required)

i) The detailed design process and final outcome in the form of a designed building integrating
the service or the system.
ii) The aims and the objectives mentioned at the earlier stage must be incorporated in the
designing of the service/system to the building.
iii) Any reference/recommendation (codes/rules/regulations/guidelines etc) must be clearly
mentioned.

7. Conclusion
Anticipated results must be refined and can be design/system proposal/analysis etc.
8. Any other key point required for the research.
