Automatic NC back up

Purpose:
New Matrix s/w improvements: Automatic NC back up

Overview:
To restore data promptly when NC or a hard disk is broken down, NC saves data
like paramerters and programs anytime you prefer.
It is also possible to save the data which custoers do not change like the machine model data
(MAKER BACKUP) and restore backup data (RESTORE) by serviceman in 1131 mode.

Backup function to Compact Flash card memory
To restore data promptly when NC or a hard disk is broken down, NC saves data
like paramerters and programs anytime you prefer.
It is also possible to save the data which custoers do not change like the machine model data
(MAKER BACKUP) and restore backup data (RESTORE) by serviceman in 1131 mode.

< Automatic Backup >

Automatic Backup is executed as soon as turning on NC. We can see a message below during backup.
This function is valid when parameter F166bit7=1.

< Manual Backup >

You will see this screen below when selecting menu key in diagnos screen.
Press the menu "NC DATA BACKUP" then press INPUT key.

Screen shows the progress during backup.

< MAKER BACK UP, RESTORE >

The menu "MAKER BACK UP" and "NC DATA RESTORE" are displayed in only 1131 mode.
It is possible to save the data like machine model data for simulation. (not changed by customer.)

It is possible to restore backup data when executing [NC DATA RESTORE].

Select the backup data with DATE when restore data.
< Folder to save >
It is possible to change the place (the drive) to save backup data.
(1) Go to DIAGNOS screen and select [Setup] in Menu Bar and [Backup Drive Select].

(2) Select the drive you would like to save.

In case that you cannot access the selected drive, "ALARM1453 BACKUP IMCOMPLETE" occurs.
EX.) If the CF card is not inserted when executing backup, the alarm occurs.
In this case please insert the CF card.

< Note >

1. We can backup the programs in STANDARD PROGRAM area, but cannot backup
in HDD OPERATION and BACKUP PROGRAM area.
2. It is impossible to change parameter settings, and edit programs in BACKUP operation.
If we do, alarm #1453 "MEMORY PROTECT" is generated, but backup operation
is continued.
3. In BACKUP operation, if we put menu "NC DATA BACKUP" off, the operation ends
and the saving data is deleted.
4. Please do not run programs in BACKUP operation to machine workpieces correctly,
and finish BACKUP operation completely.
5. If we change screens in BACKUP operation, the process window is remained.
6. The process window shows "-- %", it is determined by not time but the numbers
of files (data). So process can be varied.
