With reference to DM-PHROD-2021-0152 dated September 7, 2021 on the conduct of the National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH) come March 2022, this Office hereby announces the conduct of Division Capacity Building of Aspiring Principals on the Philippine Professional Standards for School Heads (PPSSH) Modules on February 15-19, 2022 (First Wave) and February 21-25, 2022 (Second Wave). 2. The chief objective of this activity is to equip the aspiring principals with up- to-date knowledge, skills, and appropriate attitudes along Philippine Professional Standards for School Heads. 3. Participants to this capacity building are those interested and qualified teachers/school heads to take the NQESH 2022, whose names were submitted by the District Office to the Division. However, teachers/school heads who are not in the list may still join, provided that they meet the following experience requirements: a. One year as Head Teacher; b. ‘Two years as Teacher-in-Charge; c. Two years as Master Teacher; a. c L. years as Teacher III or SPED Teacher; or Five years as incumbent public-school teacher who has five years of managerial and supervisory experience in a DepEd-recognized private institution or CHED-recognized higher education institution. 4. _ The Executive Committee and the list of identified trainers are found in Enclosure No. 1 of this memorandum. Support Staff are assigned in each cluster of participants for the efficiency of the activity. A Division Staff Orientation Workshop (DSOW) will be conducted on February 8, 2022, 8AM at Mobo National High School, Mobo, Masbate. 6. _ To conform with the IATF protocols and training rules, the participants by district will be clustered in different venues. Please see Enclosure No. 2 of this memorandum for details. 7. The identified host schools shall prepare the venue, sound system, LCD projector, printer, and other needed materials. The host schools shall not shoulder the expenses on food and lodging of the trainers but they are just directed to prepare their office/classrooms should the trainers need an overnight accommodation. 8. Public Schools District Supervisor of the host school is hereby directed to oversee the conduct of the 5-day activity. 9. Since February 19, 2022 is Saturday, this Office will grant service credits to teachers in accordance to DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2003 entitled Updated Guidelines on Grant of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers and non-teaching personnel shall earn a Compensatory Overtime Credit (COC) for the complete eight hours participation in the activity in accordance to CSC & DBM Joint Circular No. 2, s. 2004 entitled Non-monetary Numeration for Overtime Services Rendered. 10. The attendance of the participants to the activity will be on Official Time only, while the travel and other expenses of the Division Trainers and Support Staff relative to the conduct of the activity shall be charged to local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. 11.
