•This project focus on the aspect of

traffic lights control in order to reduce

the congestion and thereby contribute

to the reduction of thenegative impact

of transport on the urban environment.

•To manage the movement of people

and goods as efficiently and safely

aspossible.
•They are programmed to take into

account factors like the time of day, the

volume of traffic and accidents or road

works. Here, pedestrian crossings at

individual junctions allow those on foot

to cross while the traffic-light sequence

is allowing drivers from other directions

to proceed.
