The Joy of Giving - DAAN UTSAV is a festival which is celebrated every year in the
month of October. It aims to become a part of the Indian ethos. It engages people
through ‘acts of giving’- money, time, resources and skills spanning the corporate, NGO
and government sectors, schools, colleges and the general public.

Join Goonj’s ‘Dil Ki Suno, Kuch Karo’ (Listen to your heart, do something)
campaign and experience simple joys of sharing and caring for those in need.

The following things can be donated:

• Stationery and Toys – New or old stationery / toys in good condition

• Clothes and Footwear – In usable condition
• Recycle Knowledge – New or old books in good condition

The collected items will be donated to Goonj, an NGO that was started by Mr
Anshu Gupta (Winner of Magsaysay Award 2015) and has a network in the rural areas
of many states of India. Goonj aims to build an equitable relationship of strength,
sustenance and dignity between the cities and villages using the under-utilized urban
material as a tool to trigger development with dignity, across the country.
You are requested to send the donations at the centers nearby your place
or to the school at the earliest
