Job Summary:

Intern / Associate – Working Capital Management & Debt advisory proactively executes and assists delivery teams
to drive rapid and sustainable release of cash from working capital identifying the key drivers of working capital
improvement, quantify this opportunity based on levers and provide recommendations on activities required to
realize the cash.

Essential Functions of the Job:


Executes/supports working capital optimization engagements
Helps identify opportunities for clients for optimizing working capital based on primary and secondary
Supports senior leadership in business development

Competencies

• Technical knowledge & problem-solving skills


✓ Detailed understanding of Financial Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
✓ Quantitative data analysis for standard WC elements like inventory, Account Receivables and
Account Payable elements on MS Excel/Similar tools.
✓ Displays a critical reading of financial statements, business models, notes to accounts and working
capital related line items including schedules to statements
✓ Can work proficiently on research databases

• Awareness of services that the practice provides and support in Brand Building
✓ Assists Manager/ Sr. Manager in ideation and pitch preparation/ marketing materials/ credentials
✓ Abreast with working capital trends through reports/newspaper and though leadership by
competitors
✓ Develops rapport with the middle management of the client

• Adherence to standard
✓ Ensures necessary compliance of standard deliverables in a consistent manner
✓ Ensures compliance with standard good practices for quality control and efficient execution of the
projects
✓ Application and adherence to the standardized work documents &tools (such as pitch / proposal/
report templates/ models, etc)

• Teamwork and overall development


✓ Contributes ideas/opinions to team discussions
✓ Co-operates and interacts effectively with others and contribute to a positive working environment
✓ Seeks out and takes opportunities to develop own skills / competencies and knowledge

Job Requirements

• Education

✓ A post-graduate degree in management (emphasis in Finance or Operations/Supply Chain preferred)


or equivalent relevant experience

• Experience

✓ Approximately 1-3 years of consulting experience or similar relevant industry experience


✓ Experience in being part of client-focused advisory solutions (Not essential but desirable)
✓ Medium business/commercial acumen and an understanding of major industry sector trends preferred
