Dear Sir,

Greetings,

It has been ten months since I took up my role as AGM operations. Professionally this is a brand-
new area for me, however it has been very exciting to be involved in the core functions of the
hospital.

Mostly I am very grateful for Basheer sir’s guidance, which has helped me develop quite
quickly. And Usman, Spooyka and Sangeetha have been very supportive in my learning process.

My activities

In the last ten months I have been familiarizing myself with each of these departments. Meeting
the staff, understanding the processes and equipment’s used. Most of my time is devoted in
dealing with their problems on a day-to-day basis. But there have been some concerns which I
will briefly describe-

Future Plans 2021-2022

Many of the issues of the departments I am responsible for are recurrent, and I believe that these
have to be resolved on an urgent basis. And concentrate on developing these departments further.
For this I want to help each of these departments to define their goals & objective that they
would like to achieve by March 2022. And compile all these into a strategic plan 2021-2022.
This will give us a road map till the beginning of the next financial year.

I am grateful for this great opportunity that Basheer sir has given me. I also believe that I need
some management skills and hence enrolled for a distance course in MBA.

Hence forth I will update you with monthly reports. Please also find attached an activity report
for the month of July.

As  I am new to operations ,I took some time to settle/ …… .Now I  have completed 10  months 
in the Department of  Operation.  
Basheer sir guidance ---- great learning.

With the support  of Usman , Soopyka and Sangeetha It was easy for me to handle operations. 

Operational Data 

OP and IP Data --- from January to July 2021

During these tenure many new departments  added 1. Aster Mirakl , Fulltime Neurologist and
Fulltime Nephrologist.

Dring last month OP IP was affected due to covid especially OBG. Hope to settle the issue once
the covid settle.(OBG One year Data)

Initial months I have focused on improving patient satisfaction areas  -

Discharge delays , 
OP pharmacy delays, 
ED Admission delays etc.
Improved NPS scores.(NPS Data)
