Association Assembly (A face- to-face orientation with a Facebook live stream) of Tandag City SpEd Center of
SY 2021-2022, on October 29, 2021, (Friday), at 8:00am to 12:00noon, which will be held at Tandag Central
Elementary School Covered Court, Tandag City.

Rest assured that the minimum health protocols such as wearing of facemask all the time, social distancing,
logbook/tracker of participants, presence of sanitation and temperature check area. These will be strictly
observed before, during and after the activity.

Attached are the Activity Proposal, List of Participants ( Enclosure 1), Activity Matrix (Enclosure 2), Program

B. Profile of the Program Course
i. Title of the Program:
1st General Parent-Teachers Association Assembly for SY 2021-2022.
ii. Rationale:
As stated in DepEd Order No. 54, s. 2009, that in every elementary and secondary school shall
organize a Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) for the purpose of providing forum for the discussion of
issues and their solutions related to the total school program and ensure the full cooperation of parents
in the efficient implementation of such program.
Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 029, s.2021, or the School Calendar and Activities for School
Year 2021-2022 in accordance with its commitment to learning continuity amidst the health crisis, which
states that a general assembly of stakeholders shall be conducted at the start of the school year,
midway through the year and at the end of the school year. Where it should cover the curriculum, co-
curricular programs, and ancillary services to support learner development and the continuous
improvement of school outcomes, and the school shall decide on the mode for carrying out the said
activities, in compliance with the health, social distancing, and applicable quarantine protocols
prescribed by the DOH and the IATF.
Every PTA shall provide mechanisms to ensure proper coordination with the members of the
community, provide an avenue for discussing relevant concerns and support to the school for the
promotion of their common interest. The PTA shall serve as support group and as a significant partner
of the school whole relationship shall be defined by cooperative and open dialogue to promote the
welfare of the learners.
With this, the school shall conduct an orientation as to the programs and projects of the
Department to ensure effective and successful partnership of parents, teacher, and other stakeholders
in the delivery of quality basic education for all the learners in this time of pandemic.
Hence, it will absolutely be of great help in the smooth and productive conduct of the new
school year which will also achieve the Department’s Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan for SY
2021-2022.

1st General Parent-Teachers Association Assembly for SY 2021-2022.

iv. Professional Development Priorities:

This activity seeks to address the need of the learners, teachers, and parents as one of the
facilitators of learning in our school and at home, and the support of the stakeholders in helping to
achieve quality education in the time of pandemic. For them to be capacitated and be oriented to
whatever situation that will come through and to be aware and acquainted of the new programs and
