--THE PROCESS OF LOADING the OPERATING SYSTEM FILES FROM the secondary storage
media TO RAM IS CALLED AS BOOTING

2.WHAT IS OS INSTALLATION?
--LOADING OS INTO HARD DISK FROM ANY EXTERNAL MEDIA(CD/DVD/PEN DRIVE/WDS)IS CALLED
AS OS INSTALLATION
3.TYPES OF OS INSTALLATIONS?
--THERE ARE 3 TYPES OF OS INSTALLATIONS
i)CLEAN INSTALLATION
ii)UPGRADE INSTALLATION
iii)DUAL BOOT OR MULTIBOOT INSTALATION
i)CLEAN INSTALLATION
--we can define the clean installation in two ways
i)WIPING OUT AN EXISTING OS ON EXISTING PARTITION AND THEN INSTALL OS NEWLY
ii)INSTALLING WINDOWS OS ON A BRAND NEW PARTITION of a brand new hard disk
ii)UPGRADE INSTALLATION
--existing OS is overwritten by new OS
--UPGRADE INSTALLATION MAINTAIN ALL PREVIOUS APPLICATIONS,SETTINGS AND FILES AS IT
IS
--older version is installed first and the the newer version
4. HOW TO KNOW HOW MANY OPERATING SYSTEMS ARE PRESENT IN A HARD DISK
==windows+r--msconfig
iv)power off the computer and again power on to firmware--go to the boot menu--
select cd-ROM drive through the up arrow or down arrow keys--bring the cd-ROM drive
option on the top by using plus sign(+)--press F10 to save and exit from firmware--
and continuously press the enter button to install the OS from cd/dvd drive

iii)dual boot installation
iv)downgrade installation
v)RESET A WINDOWS 10 SYSTEM?
i)clean installation
a)create a virtual machine
b)load operating system in the cd/dvd drive
c)go to bios and change boot priority
d)install OS
