Dear Sir,
We refer to your application and the subsequent discussions we have had with you.
We are pleased to offer you a Contract Assignment for our projects w.e.f.
_________ as a ___________for a period of one year. You will be responsible to
carry out the erection as per drawing, material & manpower planning, reporting as
per formats and ensuring quality and safety at site. You will follow all relevant
statutory and other legal provisions. During the period of your contract assignment
with us, we may decide to place you at our other project sites also. This period
contract assignment is offered to you on following terms and conditions:
1. You will be paid a consolidated salary which consists of Basic Rs. _______
per month, HRA of Rs. _______ per month, Conveyance Rs. _______ per
month and Site allowance of Rs. _______ . 10% of annual emoluments
would be payable to you at the end of this contract.
3. You will be covered under ESI Act (If applicable) and in case of sickness you
shall produce certificates from your panel doctor. TECC in no way will be
responsible for any lapses on statutory compliance, and consequent accidents
/ injuries to you and / or your personnel.
4. You will be eligible for 20 days PL per annum, which will be accrued to you
on pro-rata basis. You will be eligible for 7 days Casual Leave on pro-rata
basis.
5.1 You will work under the supervision of such officers as may be decided by the
Company from time to time. You shall diligently and faithfully carry out
instructions given to you, by your superiors in the performance of duties.
5.2 You will be responsible for the safe keeping and returning in appropriate
condition and good order of all our property such as tools, equipments,
instruments, books, stationary, identity card etc. which may be in your
custody, use, care or charge. We shall have the right to deduct the value of
such items from your dues and take such other actions, as we deem proper
in the event of your failure to account for such property to our satisfaction.
4.3 Your attendance shall be regulated to suit the duties entrusted to you from
time to time. You may be required to work in any shift without any extra
remuneration. The company has the right to change the timings of shifts and
hours as per its requirement.
4.4 You will liable to be transferred to any department, office or other industrial
establishment within …………….. group and you will abide by the working
hours of the department, office or industrial establishment concerned.
4.5 You will be governed by the standing orders and / or such other rules and
regulations of the Company in force now and any such modifications or
additions that may come into force from time to time, which may be
applicable to you.
5. While performing your assignments, if you are required to travel outside your
place of posting, you will be eligible for the following during travel period
only:

- Rs. _____/- per day for boarding and Rs. _____/- per day for
accommodation, if you make you own arrangements.
- Hotel stay will apply only where the company does not have transit
houses, or if accommodation in transit houses is not available. In such a
case, expenses at actual up to Rs._____/- per day against bills can be
claimed towards lodging.
4. Storekeeper

7. You will be required to appear for a medical check up. If you fail to appear
before our medical officer, you will be deemed medically unfit for the job.
Your assignment will depend on your medical fitness.
8. You should furnish your permanent and local addresses to the Company and
it shall be your duty to promptly inform the changes therein. The
communication sent to the address furnished by you to the Company will be
deemed to be final and proper.
9. You will not at any time, without the consent of the Company, disclose or
divulge or make public except under legal obligations, any information
regarding Company’s affairs or administration or research carried out,
whether the same may be confided to you or becomes known to you in
course of your assignments or otherwise.
10. The Company has a right to deduct your salary at its discretion in the event
of work stoppage, go-slow or agitation or for any such reasons of indiscipline
harming the company’s business interests.
11. On termination of this contract you will immediately give up to the Company
all correspondence, specifications, formulae, books, documents, market-data,
cost – data, literature, drawings, effects or records, etc. belonging to the
Company or related to its business and shall not make or retain any copies of
these items.
12. You will not undertake similar assignments from our competitors during the
course of this contract.
14. This contract appointment being of a temporary nature, in case you want to
proceed on leave, then you have to fill up necessary application form and
obtain permission from your site – in – charge / Senior Officials in advance.
In case you are observed to be absconding from place of your duty / site /
assignment for a period of more than seven days, then this contract
appointment stands automatically terminated and no payment is applicable to
you for the period of absenteeism.
15. In case your performance is observed to be satisfactory and for any reason
your period Contract assignment is not extended beyond one year, then the
contract assignment period stands automatically extended for additional three
months only.
16. Both the parties have the right to terminate this contract by giving one
month’s notice or one month’s full salary in lieu of such notice.
