LIST OF SCOPE OF ERECTION ACTIVITIES UPTO BOILER REGISTRATION

1. Offload, proper stacking and storing of TBW/ESD/TECC supplied 
materials at work site
2. Receive and check TECC supplied materials and issue receiving 
reports, excess, shortage and damage reports as required.
3. Manpower, tools & tackles and equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.) 
4. Provide graded area for lay down with utilities 
5. Special storage of items requiring climatised storage as advised and 
specified by TBW/ESD/TECC Engr.
6. Adequate Area lighting in lay down areas, portable low volt hand lamps 
(24-V supply)
7. Provision of safety equipment to all personnel. (Hard Hats, safety Belts, 
working platforms / scaffoldings or staging closely boarded, tested
equipments / chains / ropes, coveralls etc).
8. Construction power supply with in battery limit. 
9. Distribution of power for construction work, including distribution board 
with main switch fuse unit & cables.
10. Construction and drinking water supply within battery limit 
11. Construction of stores shed, wherever necessary 
12. Dismantling of temporary structure, Collect waste from storage areas 
and dispose of in scrap yards.
13. Provision of accommodation for contractor/ sub-vendor staff 
14. Overall security within Plant boundaries 
15. Security within work site 
16. Supply of on -site transportation 
17. Issue of materials from store yard/stores 
18. Materials Control (provision and maintenance of materials inventory) in 
warehouse/laydown areas.
19. Issue final reconciliation reports for all Owner supplied materials.  
20. Construction planning. 
21. Approval of construction plan.  
22. Monthly progress reports 
23. Provision of construction and fabrication drawings.  
24. Provision and verification of as built drawings.   
25. Compliance with Local regulations requirements, statutory formalities, 
labour licence, workmen compensation policy, payment of PF/ESI,
medical, insurance of employees, safety aspects, etc.
26. Supply of tools and consumables i.e. electrodes, filler wire, 
gases( oxygen,acetylene, argon,nitrogen),grinding wheels, etc.
27. Supply of Tube Expander 
28. Supply of craneage for proper handling & transport, as required 
29. Provision of all test facilities and materials 
30. QA/QC   
31. QA/QC audits (if appropriate)  
32. All tests such as x-ray, gamma-ray, ultrasonic test, liquid dye-penetrant, 
blowing test, hydraulic and smoke test / leak test
33. Provision of land for labour camp / sheds 
34. Chemicals for Alkali Boilout 
35. Supply of any material forming permanent part of the equipment 
36. Payment of local taxes , levies, permits etc for construction 
37. Work Permit, Entry Permit, Hot Work Permit. 
38. Statutory Fees for Clearances. 
39. IBR provisional approval & steam test & obtaining registration no., etc. 
