‫ّلِل‪ ,‬ن َْح َم ُدهُ‪َ ,‬ونَ ْست َ َعينُهُ‪,‬‬ ‫إن ْال َح ْم َد َ َّ َ‬

‫َّ‬
‫ور أ َ ْنفُ َسنَا‪,‬‬
‫ش ُر َ‬ ‫اّلِل َم ْن ُ‬ ‫َونَ ْست َ ْغ َف ُرهُ‪َ ,‬ونَعُوذُ َب َّ َ‬
‫ت أ َ ْع َما َلنَا‬ ‫س َيئَا َ‬ ‫َو َ‬
‫ض َّل لَهُ‪َ ,‬و َم ْن يُ ْ‬
‫ض َل ْل‬ ‫َّللاُ فَالَ ُم َ‬
‫َم ْن َي ْه َد َه َّ‬
‫ي لَهُ‪,‬‬‫فَالَ َها َد َ‬
‫أ َ ْش َه ُد أ َ ْن الَ اَلَهَ اَالَّ هللاُ َو ْح َدهُ َالش ََري َْك لَهُ‪،‬‬
‫ش َها َدة َ َم ْن ُه َو َخي ٌْر َّمقَا ًما َوأ َ ْح َ‬
‫س ُن نَ َديًّا‪.‬‬ ‫َ‬
 ‫س ْولُهُ‬ ‫س َي َدنَا م َح َّمدًا َع ْب ُدهُ َو َر ُ‬ ‫َوأ َ ْش َه ُد أ َ َّن َ‬
‫ص َبيًّا‪.‬‬
‫ارا َو َ‬ ‫ار َم َك َب ً‬‫ف َب ْال َم َك َ‬ ‫ص ُ‬ ‫ْال ُمت َّ َ‬
‫ان‬‫س َي َدنَا ُم َح َّم ٍد َك َ‬ ‫س َل ْم َعلَى َ‬ ‫ص َل َو َ‬ ‫اَللَّ ُه َّم فَ َ‬
‫س ْوالً نَ َبيًّا‪َ ،‬و َعلَى‬ ‫ان َر ُ‬ ‫صادَقَ ْال َو ْع َد َو َك َ‬ ‫َ‬
‫ص ْح َب َه الَّ َذي َْن يُ ْح َسنُ ْو َن إَ ْسالَ َم ُه ْم َولَ ْم‬ ‫آ َل َه َو َ‬
‫ش ْيئًا فَ َريًّا‪،‬‬ ‫َي ْف َعلُ ْوا َ‬
‫اض ُر ْو َن َر َح َم ُك ُم‬ ‫أ َ َّما َب ْعدُ‪ ،‬فَ َيا أَيُّ َها ْال َح َ‬
‫ص ْينَ ْي نَ ْف َس ْي َوإَيَّا ُك ْم َبت َ ْق َوى هللاَ‪،‬‬ ‫هللاُ‪ ،‬ا ُ ْو َ‬
‫‪.‬فَقَ ْد فَازَ ْال ُمتَّقُ ْو َن‬
‫قَا َل هللاُ ت َ َعالَى ‪:‬‬
‫الر َج َيم‬
‫ان َّ‬ ‫ش ْي َ‬
‫ط َ‬ ‫عوذُ َب َّ‬
‫اّلِلَ َم َن ال َّ‬ ‫أَ ُ‬
 ‫َّللا‬ ُ ‫ٰياَيُّ َها الَّ َذي َْن ٰا َمنُ ْوا اَ ْن ت َ ْن‬
‫ص ُروا َه‬
‫ت ا َ ْق َدا َم ُك ْم‬
ْ ‫ص ْر ُك ْم َويُث َ َب‬
ُ ‫َي ْن‬
(QS Muhammad [47]: 7)

Alhamdulillah, all praise belongs to Allah, who has given us all faith
and Islam. He is the Most Righteous and the Most Just. Who rules
the universe. The One Who Knows what is happening on earth.
Shalawat and salaam may always be poured out on the Prophet
sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, his family, friends, and his people until
the Day of Judgment.

Fear Allah, whenever and wherever you are. Obey all Allah's
commands and stay away from all of His prohibitions. God willing,
whoever can do that, surely Allah will raise his rank.

Friday Congregation Rahimakumullah,

Blasphemy doesn't know how to stop. Keeps going on. The latest,
a politician wrote a status on one of the social media platforms,
"It's a pity that your God is weak, he must be defended."

There are some people who defend and support it. They think that
God does not need to be defended. According to them, Allah is All-
Powerful and All-Powerful. Allah does not need the defense of
weak humans. Defending Allah is tantamount to thinking that
Allah is weak. That's their opinion.

Take note! Such an attitude is clearly wrong. We, the Muslims,

must be able to distinguish between the realm of faith and the
realm of pious deeds. In the realm of faith, every Muslim is obliged
to believe that Allah is Strong (Al-Qawiy), All-Mighty (Al-'Azîz) and
Most Sturdy (Al-Matn). Nothing can beat the power of Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, as He says:

‫ق َّو َما ا ُ َر ْي ُد ا َ ْن‬ ٍ ‫َما ا ُ َر ْي ُد َم ْن ُه ْم َم ْن َر ْز‬

َ‫اق ذُو ْالقُ َّوة‬ ُ ‫الر َّز‬ ‫ُّط َع ُم ْو َن اَ َّن َه‬
َّ ‫َّللا ُه َو‬ ْ ‫ي‬
‫ْال َم َتي ُْن‬
I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed
Me.Indeed, Allah ˹alone˺ is the Supreme Provider—Lord of all Power,
Ever Mighty. (TQS Adz-Dzariyat [51]: 57-58).

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala informs that everything will surely

perish, except Him:
 ‫َي ٍء َها َل ٌك اَالَّ َو ْج َه ُۗهُ لَهُ ْال ُح ْك ُم َواَلَ ْي َه‬
ْ ‫ُك ُّل ش‬
‫ت ُ ْر َجعُ ْو َن‬
Everything is bound to perish except He Himself. All authority
belongs to Him. And to Him you will ˹all˺ be returned. (TQS al-
Qashash [28]: 88).

Friday Congregation Rahimakumullah,

That is the realm of aqidah or faith. However, in the realm of pious
deeds, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala Orders Muslims to defend His
religion. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

‫َّللا لَقَ َوي‬ ُ ‫َّللاُ َم ْن يَ ْن‬

ََّ ‫ص ُرهُ َإ َّن‬ ُ ‫َولَيَ ْن‬
َّ ‫ص َر َّن‬
ٌ ‫َع َز‬
‫يز‬
Allah will surely support those who support Him [i.e., His cause].
Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. (TQS al-Hajj [22]: 40).

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala also commands Muslims to be the

helpers of His religion:

‫َّللا‬ ُ ‫ٰياَيُّ َها الَّ َذي َْن ٰا َمنُ ْوا اَ ْن ت َ ْن‬

‫ص ُروا َه‬
‫ت ا َ ْق َدا َم ُك ْم‬
ْ ‫ص ْر ُك ْم َويُث َ َب‬
ُ ‫َي ْن‬
O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you
and plant firmly your feet. (TQS Muhammad [47]: 7).

Shaykh Ibrahim al-Qaththan in his commentary explains the

meaning of this verse, "O you who believe, if you help Allah—that is,
by helping the implementation of His sharia, upholding the rights of
Islam, carried out according to His straight manhaj—God will surely
help you against your enemies. This is the true promise of Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Indeed He has done so for the true believers
from the generations before us. Therefore, now we are also required
to help Allah's religion and walk on His manhaj until Allah helps us
and strengthens our position. Allah never breaks a promise.” (Al-
Qathhan, Taysîr at-Tafsîr, 3/242).

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam also once advised

Abdullah bin Abbas radhiyallahu 'anhu to guard the religion of
Allah:

ْ َ‫هللا يَ ْحف‬
‫ظ َك‬ َ ‫احفَ َظ‬
ْ
Guard (religion) Allah, He will guard you (HR at-Tirmidzi).

Regarding this hadith, Imam Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali explained, "The

meaning is, keep His limits, His rights and His prohibitions. Keeping it
is to obey His commands with submission, stay away from His
prohibitions, do not transgress His limits…” (Ibnu Rajab, Jâmi’ al-
Ulûm wa al-Hikam, hlm. 462).

So, it must be understood by the people that defending Allah

referred to in the texts above is defending the glory of His religion
and His symbols. Including defending the glory of God's attributes
from all acts of blasphemy.

Friday Congregation Rahimakumullah,

In Sîrah Ibn Hisham it is narrated that Abu Bakr ash-Siddiq
radhiyallahu 'anhu once hit a Jewish priest named Finhash hard in
the face because he made fun of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. He
called Allah poor, while the Jews were rich. This ridicule relates to
Allah's commandment to Muslims to give 'good loans' (qardhan
hasanah) in His way.

For the beating, Finhash complained Abu Bakr radhiyallahu 'anhu

to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam However, Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala defended Abu Bakr's actions by revealing His
words:

ٌ ‫َّللا فَ َق‬
‫ير‬ َ ‫َّللاُ قَ ْو َل الَّ َذ‬
َ َّ ‫ين قَالُوا َإ َّن‬ َّ ‫س َم َع‬ َ ‫لَقَ ْد‬
‫ب َما قَالُوا َوقَتْلَ ُه ُم‬ُ ُ ‫سنَ ْكت‬َ ‫َون َْح ُن أ َ ْغ َن َيا ُء‬
 َ ‫ع َذ‬
‫اب‬ ٍ ‫اْأل َ ْنبَ َيا َء َبغَي َْر َح‬
َ ‫ق َونَقُو ُل ذُوقُوا‬
َ ‫ْال َح َري‬
‫ق‬
Indeed, Allah has heard those ˹among the Jews˺ who said, “Allah is
poor; we are rich!” We have certainly recorded their slurs and their
killing of prophets unjustly. Then We will say, “Taste the torment of
burning! (TQS Ali Imran [3]: 181).

Friday Congregation Rahimakumullah,

O Muslims, hasn’t Allah called upon you all to always put this
religion above all else?

‫ان ٰابَ ۤا ُؤ ُك ْم َوا َ ْبنَ ۤا ُؤ ُك ْم َواَ ْخ َوانُ ُك ْم‬َ ‫قُ ْل اَ ْن َك‬

‫َوا َ ْز َوا ُج ُك ْم َو َع َشي َْرت ُ ُك ْم َوا َ ْم َوا ُل ا ْقت َ َر ْفت ُ ُم ْو َها‬
‫سا َد َها َو َم ٰس َك ُن‬ َ ‫ارة ٌ ت َ ْخش َْو َن َك‬ َ ‫َوتَ َج‬
‫س ْو َله‬ ُ ‫َّللا َو َر‬ َ ‫ب اَلَ ْي ُك ْم َم َن ه‬ َّ ‫ض ْونَ َها ا َ َح‬
َ ‫ت َ ْر‬
‫َّللا‬
‫ي ُه‬ ‫ت‬
َ ْ ‫ص ْوا َحتهى َيْأ‬ ُ َّ‫س َب ْي َله فَت َ َرب‬
َ ‫َو َج َها ٍد فَ ْي‬
َ
‫َّللاُ الَ َي ْه َدى ْالقَ ْو َم ْال ٰف َس َقي َْن‬
‫َبا َ ْم َر ُۗه َو ه‬
Say, [O Muḥammad], "If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your
wives, your relatives, wealth which you have obtained, commerce
wherein you fear decline, and dwellings with which you are pleased
are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and jihād [i.e.,
striving] in His cause, then wait until Allah executes His command.
And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people." (TQS.
at-Taubah [9]: 24).

Have you forgotten this verse? Or are you waiting for God's threat
to come? Wal 'iyyâdzu billâh.

Show your passion to defend the religion of Allah. Apply the sharia
of Allah on earth. []

‫الزالَ َز َل َواْ َلم َح َن‬‫َعنَّا اْل َبالَ َء َواْ َلو َبا َء َو َّ‬
‫ظ َه َر َم ْن َها َو َما‬ ‫س ْو َء اْل َفتْنَ َة َواْ َلم َح َن َما َ‬ ‫َو ُ‬
‫سائَ َر‬ ‫صةً َو َ‬ ‫ط َن َع ْن َبلَ َدنَا اَ ْندُونَ ْي َسيَّا خآ َّ‬ ‫َب َ‬
‫ب اْل َعالَ َم ْي َن‪.‬‬ ‫ان اْل ُم ْس َل َمي َْن عآ َّمةً يَا َر َّ‬ ‫اْلبُ ْل َد َ‬
‫ْلخ َر َة‬‫سنَةً َو َفى اْ َ‬ ‫َربَّنَا آ َتنا َ َفى ال ُّد ْن َيا َح َ‬
‫ظلَ ْمنَا‬
‫ار‪َ .‬ربَّنَا َ‬ ‫سنَةً َوقَنَا َع َذ َ‬
‫اب النَّ َ‬ ‫َح َ‬
‫اإن لَ ْم ت َ ْغ َف ْر لَنَا َوت َ ْر َح ْمنَا لَنَ ُك ْون ََّن‬
‫سنَا َو ْ‬ ‫ا َ ْنفُ َ‬
‫َم َن اْلخَا َس َري َْن‪.‬‬
