2020 changed the facade of Philippine Education. As the pandemic hits the world, no one is
prepared to face the challenges and the effects of the lockdowns implemented to halt the
spread of the virus. The Schools Division Office of Pangasinan 1, in its desire to provide better
education tool to its teachers and better learning experience to its students, deems it necessary
to employ online/offline learning system with learning management and analytics features
including supplementary learning materials as a solution that will address the lack of teaching
and learning materials that will make learning continue.
Quipper is an online supplementary tool where the students can learn anywhere they want and
anytime they need. Quipper aims to help improve the Philippine educational system by offering
video lessons and digitalized textbooks for Grades 4 to Senior High School. The lessons are
aligned with the competencies of K-12 Curriculum. They provide thousands of lessons and
exercises for students. The exclusive distributor of Quipper in Pangasinan 1 is Holistic
Education Learning Innovation Exponents Inc.. HELIX is a 100% Filipino company
complying with the conditions of the procurement requirement. Also the distribution agreement
between HELIX and Quipper is attached as a reference.
These are the benefits of the program:

A. For Schools/Division office:

- Supporting the process of adapting to the new K-12 curriculum (Most
Essential Learning Competencies) more efficient and more effective to
complement with the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BELCP)

HELIX in partnership with SDO-Pangasinan 1 introduced Quipper to our principals and they
were convinced that this will be a solution to the challenges we are facing. Quipper had its pilot
implementation to numerous schools prior to the start of School Year 2020-2021 to check and
evaluate its Learning Management System and Learning Materials. The school heads were
initially impressed and informed about the benefits of this program to their schools, most
especially to the teachers and students. Being an online platform, Quipper will also decrease
the exposure of the students and their families to the virus as the students can send their
asynchronous activities and assessments in a convenient way without visiting the schools.
