HR Manager

Provide strategic and tactical HR services to support business operations and talent management
initiatives covering operations in Brazil. This role will serve as business partner to the Company
and must be well-versed in human resources compliance best practices and regulations. This
position also serves as a technical point of contact and subject matter expert for Company's HRIS
(Workday) and relevant data integrity and usability. With attention to detail and accuracy, this
position will maintain Corporate HR dashboards and reports that executive management can use
to make informed decisions about Company's workforce, and provide information to Company's
Board of Directors and other qualified stakeholders.

Create and Implement and drive strategic Human Resource programs at the local level, including:

 Leadership Coaching and Support. Partners with business leaders and line managers
on people and business-related issues. Supports business to execute on business
imperatives through our people. Provides day-to-day performance management
guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary
actions).
 Organizational Culture. Works closely with management and employees to improve
work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Leads rollout
of new and innovative HR practices, programs, and policies, to create
a strong leadership culture and high performance teams.
 Organizational Support. Works effectively with diverse populations to provide prompt
response and follow-through regarding questions, concerns, and issues in an accurate
and confidential manner. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Acts
as an impartial advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

 Talent Acquisition and Management. Provides guidance and input on business unit
restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Partners with client groups to
determine hiring needs, develop staffing plan, develop strategy and recommend methods
to meet staffing objectives. Will recruit for specified client groups as required. Directs and
coordinates the new hire on-boarding process. Identifies training needs for business units
and individual executive coaching needs.

 People & Culture Processes. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with Regional
HR to develop solutions, programs and policies. Assists in documenting
policies/procedures, maintaining people process workflow, and coordinating people
driven events.

 Compliance. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day


management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Prepares job descriptions, organization charts and other compliance-related
documentation as necessary. Coordination of all aspects of employment contracts and
compensation for the employees.

 Liaison with external Counsel on employment contract matters, as needed/required.

Establish salary benchmarking information as a basis to structure job grading structure.


Thereafter, provide information on a regular basis to management
Required Experience:

 4-5 years of human resources experience, in a professional services environment or


insurance industry
 Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication with developed presentation
skills
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
 Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and deliver top quality HR services
in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
 Experience with HRIS, preferably with Workday
 Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate with business leaders and employ
ees to effectively achieve business goals
 Clear thinker who thinks strategically and translates strategies into actionable plans
 Results-oriented individual who can make informed decisions
 Strong business acumen, analytical and project management skills
 Outstanding time management and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced,
deadline-driven environment
 Strong facilitation, negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution skills.
 Change agent; results oriented; high energy
 Strong Talent Acquisition and Compensation background

BS/BA in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or related field.


Knowledge of English and/or Spanish highly desirable.
