OUTPUT-INPUT connections
-The controller has a serial door (RS485) for connections to the new Ethernet module or
ModbusRTU connections.
It also features:
- no.1 4-20 mA port for humidity transducers
- no.1 4-20 mA port for S4 probe signal retransmission
The refrigerator also communicates its status via a clean NO / NC contact located on the board
(fig. 5). Through the remote alarm relay it is possible to communicate an alarm condition on a
remote device.
N.B .: The connections must be made as indicated below and must be tested with the appliance in
operation. To make the connections, disconnect the plug from the power supply, open the cover of
the card box, connect a suitable cable to the green terminal shown in the photo, passing it throughthe
hole on the side of the box.
The battery back-up allows to monitor the temperature of the appliance and any faults and alarms
in case of power failure. It is an optional accessory.
The safety thermostat – a safety probe – is an additional and separate electronic board with a totally
independent sensor from temperature and alarm probes, whose aim is to avoid that temperature
inside the refrigerator goes below +2°C. Once this threshold is gone beyond, the board cuts the
power to compressor. This optional accessory, together with back-up battery, makes the appliance
comply with DIN 58345 std.
