 JOB DESCRIPTION:
ETIHAD AIRWAYS

LINE MAINTENANCE

➢ Ensure that all work carried out is to the standard required

➢ Meet arriving aircraft on turn-round within 10 minutes of their arrival
➢ Review the cabin defects log for every arriving aircraft to ensure that cabin
defects are actioned as required
➢ Carry out tasks as directed by the duty lead certifying engineer
➢ Carry out a walk-through of the cabin on every arriving aircraft to identify
any defects not raised in the cabin log and action as required
➢ Identify aircraft interior cleaning requirements and bring them to the
attention of the aircraft appearance supervisor.
➢ Identify any cabin defect that may impact on the departure of the aircraft
with the duty lead certifying engineer as soon as it becomes known.
➢ Inspect all seats for good condition and operationally check.
➢ Remove and replace component/items I.A.W approved data/documents

BASE MAINTENANCE (Etihad Airways Engineering)

➢ Perform heavy maintenance on Etihad Airways fleet and third-party

aircrafts.
➢ Perform removal & installation of lavatory, galley, flight attendant seats,
passenger seats in accordance with approved data/documents

➢ Performs all work activities in accordance with established laws,

regulations, standards, safety protocols, and procedures to ensure safety
of self and others.
➢ Inspects aircraft or aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic
systems, tires, and engines for damage, defects, corrosion, or other wear
to ensure airworthiness.
➢ Recommends replacement, repair, or modification of aircraft equipment
based on inspection.
➢ Reports issues, malfunctions, unusual wear, or damage to appropriate
personnel, as required.
➢ Inspects completed work to certify that maintenance adheres to standards
and procedures, and that aircraft are ready for operation.
➢ Perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-
assembly or adjustment of various aircraft components.
➢ Perform assemble and disassemble of wheels and brakes in accordance
with approved component documents and data.
