About Organizer:

Digital Green: Digital Green is an international development organization that empowers


rural communities by harnessing the collective power of technology and grassroots-level
partnerships to promote good practices in agriculture, nutrition and health. This year, they
are celebrating National Nutrition Week in a more meaningful manner and are organizing a
'National Workshop on the Role of Technology in Improving Health, Nutrition and Family
Planning Outcomes’.

About Event:

DG is implementing Project Samvad, supported by USAID. They are using ICT enabled
participatory approach that promotes locally relevant content created by the communities,
for the communities, to ensure peer-to-peer learning,

They have work in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand and Assam with our
government and NGO partners namely National Health Mission, Nutrition Mission and
Livelihood Mission. Over a span of 3 years, we have been able to reach more than 500,000
rural women with good health and nutrition practices. Project Samvad has had the unique
opportunity to link nutritional outcomes with family planning and maternal and child health
in a holistic manner.

The participants include key stakeholders from the government, private sector and NGOs to
come together and share their experiences and learnings.
