Part-I: Conceptual Problems
1.a. problems can an organization encounter if the management fails in
‘organizing’ are as follows:
✓ a lack of co-ordination among functions
✓ confusion within roles of organization
✓ cost your employer time and money
✓ failure to share ideas,
✓ slow decision-making brings managers unnecessary complexity
✓ stress, and conflict.
✓ can hinder employee’s ability to get where they want to be professionally
✓ decrease organization’s productivity
✓ weakens the collaborative effort needed to have an efficient employee development plan.
✓ and can even be bad for employee’s physical and mental health.

‘staffing’ are as follows:

2. a. Resourcefulness:
➢ able to meet situations: capable of devising ways and means a resourceful leader.
➢ Resourcefulness is defined as the ability and creativity to cope with difficulties.
➢ the ability to make decisions and act on your own
➢ Think of resourceful people as “full of resources,” or tools for coming up with solutions. They
adapt well to new or difficult situations and they are able to think creatively.
b. Tactfulness:
▪ having or showing the ability to do or say things without offending other people.
▪ is the ability to say something without giving offense or simply being able to say what is
appropriate for a situation.
▪ is an important quality to have if you want to build credibility. When you are tactful, people see
that you are a respectful and credible person.
▪ is the ability to tell the truth in a way that considers other people's feelings and reactions. It allows
you to give difficult feedback, communicate sensitive information, and say the right thing to
preserve a relationship.
c. Consistency:
➢ Reliability or uniformity; the quality of being consistent. They want to achieve a high degree of
consistency in their process and their product
➢ Being consistent at work involves maintaining the same standards and behaviors that lead to
producing a high quality of work. Employees may improve their consistency by practicing time
management, setting production goals and identifying areas of improvement within their work
ethic.
➢ Whenever possible, only take a course of action if you can honestly answer that you would make
the same decision for any other employee presenting the same set of circumstances.
➢ Being consistent at work involves maintaining the same standards and behaviors that lead to
producing a high quality of work. Employees may improve their consistency by practicing time
management, setting production goals and identifying areas of improvement within their work
ethic.
3.a. the importance or significance of proper forecasting for a company’s
overall performance or success:
❖ It gives the ability to make informed business decisions and develop data-driven strategies.
Financial and operational decisions are made based on current market conditions and predictions
on how the future looks
❖ Allows company to be proactive instead of reactive.
❖ allows company to predict the funds it have coming in against its anticipated costs
to identify the full range of possibilities, not a limited set of illusory certainties.
❖ helps the company plan the next steps for its business.
❖ It helps the company gain a clear understanding of what measures the company need to put in
place to grow.
❖ It allows company to come up with smart short-term and long-term goals.
3.b. the importance or significance of proper plant layout for a company’s
overall performance or success.

• Material handling and internal transportation from one operation to the next is minimized and
efficiently controlled
• Should provide high work in process turnover.
• Should utilize the space most effectively; may be cubical utilization.
• Should help in effective utilization of labor.
• Should provide easy supervision
• Should lead to increased productivity and better quality of the product with reduced capital cost.
• Should provide worker’s convenience, promote job satisfaction and safety for them.
• Should provide overall satisfaction to all concerned.
• Should avoid unnecessary investment of capital
