Topic: CITY LIFE

Question: The quality of life in large cities is decreasing. What could be the reasons
behind this? What measures can be taken to resolve this problem?

Introduce: Living in urban area arise many problems. The noticeable problems in cities
is the standard of living becoming lower. There are many factors account for this
issue that I will give in paragraph below.

Body 1: It is undeniable that there are many factors attributed to decreasing city
dwellers' living standards. First, with the popularity of rural-to-urban migration in
some parts of the world, the metropolises have to face the concern of overpopulation,
which means people' well-being is seriously affected because of excessive amounts of
exhausted fumes. For example, according to WHO, 55% of the world's population
lives in urban areas, of which 99% was exposed to between 10 and 25 per billion of
ozone, increasing risk of respiratory diseases like emphysema. Second, the prevalence
of psychiatric disorders is significantly higher among people living in urban areas, as
a result of noise pollution as well as high crime rate.

Body 2:These problems too complicated for each citizen to solve them. Governments
who is responsible for civil life should give more concentration on social issues. For
example, we need improve infrastructure and create the employment in countryside to
prevent urbanization, made policies about environment and social security to enhance
standard of living for people.

Conclusion:In conclusion, this problem really significant for people living in big
cities. I strongly believe that they should take notice of their life quality.
