Harmful if swallowed.

Caution! May cause respiratory tract irritation. May cause severe eye and skin irritation with possible
burns. May cause severe digestive tract irritation with possible burns. Air sensitive. Hygroscopic (absorbs
moisture from the air).

Acute exposure to excessive levels of ferrous compounds can cause liver and kidney damage. May cause
CNS irritation. Iron compounds cause hemorrhage and necrosis of the stomach with shock, severe
diarrhea and possible coma. Delayed symptoms such as acidosis, shock, rapid breathing, liver injury and
possible death may occur.
Inhalation: May cause respiratory tract irritation.
Chronic: Chronic ingestion may cause effects similar to those of acute ingestion.

to do. Continue rinsing.
Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.
Rinse mouth.

FIREFIGHTING MEASURES
Extinguishing media (suitable): water spray, water fog
Evacuate area. Fight fire remotely due to the risk of explosion.
Decomposition will release oxygen, which will intensify a fire.
Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray.
Closed containers of this material may explode when subjected to heat from surrounding fire.
Do not allow run-off from firefighting to enter drains or water courses.
Firefighting equipment should be thoroughly decontaminated after use.

ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Prevent further leakage or spillage if you can do so without risk. Evacuate area of all unnecessary
personnel. Ventilate the area. Eliminate all ignition sources. Avoid generation of vapors. Avoid contact
with cellulose, paper, sawdust or similar substances. Risk of self-ignition or promotion of fires.
Combustible materials exposed to hydrogen peroxide should be rinsed immediately with large amounts of
water to ensure that all the hydrogen peroxide is removed. Contain and collect spillage with non-
combustible absorbent material such as clean sand, earth, diatomaceous earth or non-acidic clay and place
into suitable properly labeled containers for prompt disposal. Avoid dispersal of spilled material and
runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers.
