9. Factorise and solve the quadratic equations.

11. Solve using the quadratic formula.

12. Solve the simultaneous equations

13. Work out as a single fraction 𝑥+3 − 𝑥−4.

14. Samantha invests $500 at a rate of 4% per year simple interest. Calculate the interest
Samantha earns in 6 years.
15. Bruce invested $ 620 at a rate of 3% per year compound interest. Calculate the total
amount Bruce has after 4 years. Give your answer correct to 2 decimal places.
