The issues that curbed his Spiritual Growth

1. Insults, shame
2. Poverty, life situation, Poor HEALTH
3. Ill treatment, tortures by surrounding people

How to get out of this situation? THEOSIS

Now Simon's mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they besought him.

And He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her; and immediately
she rose and served them.

He laid his hands on every one of them and healed them.

And the people sought him early next day and came to him, and would have
kept him from leaving them.

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because
you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your
fill.

1. When will you become merciful, Magnanimous : When you overcome

your worldly slavery shortsightedness and become heavenbound

2. When will you become forgiving : When You overcome your slavery to
take revenge, pay back, show off, flaunt, vanity.

3. When will you become life : When You overcome the ways of death
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they
may have life, and have it to the full.

4. When will you become truthful : When you leave false and deceitful
ways. “I am the way and the truth and the life.”

5. When will you become Peaceful : When you overcome your confusion,
disunity in your members.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the
world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
 When you are a Slave to any of these you cannot go forward to the next
level, the next project, other towns preaching the good news. Peter’s
mother in law did not become a slave to joy, to the healing she received.
How to overcome and become free?

1 Christ retreated and alone Prayed.

2 Afterwards,He broke their earth binding slavery thoughts and moved

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to

proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom
for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed
free. To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

3 He was sure about his mission why he came for what reason
4 Always Learn to move forward, to grow spiritually

You will learn and crossover to the next level only when you :

1. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as

Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:5

2. I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of

knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I
consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ. Philippians 3:8

3. Test all things. Hold fast to what is good. 1Thess 5:21

PSALMS 52:10-11

8But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the steadfast
love of God for ever and ever. 9I will thank thee for ever, because thou hast
done it. I will proclaim thy name, for it is good, in the presence of the godly.
