Speaking Benchmark 2
A copy of this benchmark must be given to the trainee to read before you start asking him any of
the questions listed. Trainees are required to respond to questions using complete sentences. You
must ask the trainee 10 questions. Ask the following:
1. Three questions from part 1.
2. Three questions from part 2.
3. Three questions from part 3.
4. Trainee reads a short text in part 4.

Introductory questions:

Part 1 – All about you:
Section A: Examiner asks ONE question.
1. Apologize to me for being absent for your class.
2. Your friend is asking about the exam date. Show ignorance.
