IN RESPONSE TO YOUR ADDITIONAL WORKS CARRIED OUT

1) First floor slab-gutter RCC covering 34 Rmts was mentioned & drawing also shows gutter slab. Engineer & we mentioned that tiles would be covering the gutters slab & hence slab required . You had okayed the same & price was not mentioned as this was included in the slab. Do you expect water to remain in the gutter for a complete rainy monsoon & corrosion to take place without waterproofing the gutter. Rs. 14858/ - is disagreed & will not be paid by us. 2) Window design border Rs. 18720/- as a greed (104 rmts x 180/-) To be paid by us Rs. 18720/3) Item 3 to 5 waterproofing, 5 cement bags. 4) & 7 masons is as included in your scope of work with 5) Fosroc, cement and labour. Please refer your quotation. Rs. 15000/- + Rs. 1350/- + Rs. 2450/- is not agreeable & will not be paid by us. 6) 6 nos columns design plaster /with material @ Rs. 13500/ First & foremost, at the sta rt & onset when you were concreting the columns you were told & mentioned by us that the round col umns were not the solid ones & they were not 30 cms as instructed by us as they looked thinner and then you mentioned to us that you would replaster the columns & make them look bigger which you did not do so & it was then we told you about this design tha t you also saved on your plaster & cement. Hence amount of Rs. 13500/ - is not agreeable & will not be paid by us. 7) Extra bags of cement from item no. 7 to 11 as per your additional works carried out is completely outrageous as the Indian concreting mixing 8) ratio that is the usual standard is 1-1 -3 & not 1-2-4, but as we were ignorant & did not know the same we signed the agreement. Please note 9) that during the process of concreting, you should have brought the issue of this 93 bags extra cement that you are now charging us to our notice & not issue a bill at the last minute. This relates to the speaking of the 10) plint level also that you were told & mentioned & instructed by our engineer & ourselves also that this level has to be 60 cms from the road level, but now after we bringing the land level to the road level, the level 11) of our plint is just 30 cms which is completely low and every passerby mentions to me that why did your contractor keep the plint level so low. Please elaborate & note that you saved on cement stones, labour, reti & concrete & made our house plint look low. Secondly please refer our drawing and see that there are five steps shown on the plan, but now there are only 2 steps in front of our house. Hence the amount of 93 bags to the total of Rs. 23740/- is not agreeable & will not be paid by us.

Do you expect you to do the complete house & give the water tank to someone else? In your scope of work a water tank stand & slab comes into the picture as a drawing of the water tank was already given to you. Secondly one does not expect a sintex water tank to sit on a low slab, but a stand to be provided. Had you to mention at the start of the work entrusted to you about the water tank slab being charged extra? We would have disagreed right away as every house comes with a water slab tank. Lastly why did you not charge us also for the septic tank & soak pit? You know why because it all comes under one roof, i.e. overhead tank slab, septic tank & soak pit. For your information & to ring a bell you had als o mentioned to us whether we would like to have a conventional septic tank pit at a extra cost of Rs. 10000/- & we said no, but just do your regular work only so the topic of us paying you Rs. 12700/ - & Rs. 6850/- is disagreed & is not going to be paid by us. The total amount payable by us is Total Rs. 18720/Rs. 1861 Rs. 20581/-
