Danny, the dinosaur, loved hanging out with his herd! They spent their days lazily wandering
across the grassy fields, chewing on leaves, twigs, and roots. Danny was a diplodocus, a
large herbivore. One day, disaster struck the diplodocus herd. Out of the blue, a dark and
terrifying shadow was cast across the field. An enormous tyrannosaurus rex was running
towards them with a ravenous look in his eyes. His sharp teeth were snapping furiously as
he ran closer and closer. Danny and his herd ran as fast as they could towards the safety of
the forest. But Danny tripped on a tree root. The tyrannosaurus was right behind him,
snapping hungrily. A terrified Danny jumped to his feet and kept running. He could feel the
breath of the tyrannosaurus on his tail. The forest was so close. He knew if he made it there,
he could hide amongst the trees and be safe. He was tired and out of breath, but he kept
running. One step, two steps, three steps. Finally, he made it! He zigged and zagged
between the trees and lost the tyrannosaurus. What a relief!
