Hi Jess,

Thank you for such a lovely email about our Maths Vocabulary Scope and Sequence. We are more than happy
for your school to use it as a framework.

In terms of how we implement the vocabulary into our teaching; we include it within our Maths Daily Reviews,
defining the vocabulary and providing a modelled example. E.g.:
I do think a Frayer Board is a great idea for the upper years to demonstrate their understanding further with
examples and non-examples in the guided practice phase of the Daily Reviews, rather than within the explicit
teaching of a new concept.

We also have our Vocabulary Scope and Sequence printed in A2 and displayed in every classroom in the
school. We encourage the teachers to have their students interact with the vocabulary poster, such as having the
students highlight the vocabulary once it has been learnt.

I hope this gave you some insight into how we use the resource!

Kind regards,
