Learning Outline

1.Teacher displays the classroom objects flashcards on the board and elicit what the

objects are. 2. Draw one of the objects in a corner of the board, pupils guess.

Lesson Delivery Post Lesson

1.Teacher refer SB p.16 and read out the names of the five children.
Tell ppls to look carefully at the objects on the desks.
2. Make sure ppls know what to do. Read the instructions aloud
3. Play the recording through without stopping= CD 1 Track 25
4. Give pupils time to check. Class discussion.
5. Teacher displays sentence pattern and asks ppls to change the object
of their choice on their desks in the sentence.
6. They draw a picture of their desks with the objects
in their notebooks. They write about it, using the language pattern.
1.Teacher gives ppls speaking practice through a chain game
2. Start the chain by saying, e.g. This is my desk.
There’s a bag. /Ppl A says, e.g. This is my desk. There’s a bag
and a pencil./ Ppl B says, e.g. This is my desk. There’s a bag,
a pencil and a hat.
3. Continue until there are about eight objects in the chain.
Then start a new chain.
4. Choose ppls at random to continue the chain
