his Weekly Newsletter and know that he wisely named Ellis as Senior Legal Adviser; then,
note the dearth of factoids in Dems’ op-eds [Pa. voters to preserve democracy in
November; Is Jan. 6 truth bomb just a blast from our past?; Never-Trumpers who lead
The Lincoln Project labeled Mastriano a “traitor” for Trump election activities via an
attack ad; McClatchy characterized Mastriano as ”A lone wolf,” ripping up the traditional
campaign script by refusing to speak with the traditional [leftie] media; and Christian
nationalists like Mastriano are throwing away constitutional values].

Consider Mastriano’s “radical” plan (School Choice) to destroy public education in PA; he
would undermine lotsa bureaucracy and teacher unions by ending property taxes,
slashing per-pupil spending, and boosting religious schools and homeschooling. In many
respects it is c/w PA lawmakers’ intent to confirm baseline for school safety standards:
“School shootings in Columbine, Newtown, and Sandy Hook didn’t push the meter for
school safety but, after Parkland, lawmakers in Pennsylvania created a multi-million-
dollar school safety grant program. The program has devoted $300 million to school
safety, but lawmakers want to make sure schools are spending the money appropriately.”
And know that PA’s largest teachers union opposes Mastriano’s bill allowing armed school
employees [as occurs routinely in Israel] because it sees it as a threat to student safety.

Although Shapiro Enters Summer With a Huge Cash Lead, all isn’t well; Sharif Street is the

positions, doing little to build rapport with party leaders and dominating rooms with a 6-
foot-8-inch frame. The other crafts a more moderate image, a deliberate public speaker
who became a congressional aide out of college and has carefully cultivated relationships
within the party ever since.”]. Libs are predictably sold, again absent grappling with policy.
