JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title : Training and Investigation Officer


Job Type : Supervisory
Reports to :

JOB DETAILS

A. Objective:

As a Training Officer, you are responsible in being a subject matter expert for
Training. You will induct newly hired on boarded staff as well as ensuring that all
Security and Office staff are aligned with the agency’s mission, vision and that it adheres
to its core values by creating and providing top tiered trainings that will elevate their
talents and skills.
As an Investigation Officer, you are responsible in doing investigations in matters
pertaining to employee relations as directed by your immediate superior.

B. Responsibilities:

a. Training Officer

1. Facilitate training and deliver learning curriculum to newly onboarded


Security and office personnel.
2. Partner with the Quality Assurance Manager in collaborating with the
Operations teams in identifying knowledge gaps and process improvement
opportunities and developing trainings as required by the clients.
3. Prepare reports on the activities of the training interventions and projects
outlining objectives and accomplishment of outcomes
4. Administers knowledge checks and post-training assessments to measure
progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training.
5. Record outcomes and results of assessments; Prepares and circulates Training
status and performance report to operations including final yield report at the
end of each training batch.
6. Accurately assess skills, abilities, and knowledge to determine competence
levels
7. Conduct re-training, refresher, and/or developmental courses in line with
continuous learning and improvement.
8. Monitor and report on training projects and the enhancement of training
initiatives.

b. Investigation Officer

1. Coordinate with the Human Resource Manager in labor relations cases.


2. Conduct investigation internal and external to ensure proper HR casework and
ensure the following information are gathered before endorsing it to the HR
Department:

 Where the incident took place;


 When the incident took place;
 How the situation arose;
 The full circumstances around the incident;
 Who may have witnessed the incident;
 Any Witness’s version of events in a statement gathered from
them;
 The Employee who is under investigations’ version of events in a
statement provided by them;
 Any other facts such as CCTV or paper evidence relevant to the
allegation against the Employee.
3. Ensure that all gathered evidence are validated and true so as to produce a
fair and just result to the involved employees.

C. Requirements:

 Male/Female
 Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration or any equivalent
area of study.
 Experience as training officer and learning design is preferred.
 Good and effective communication skills both oral and written.
 Problem solving and attention to detail
 Knowledge of HR procedures and systems such as Employee Relations and Labor
Law.
 Computer literate; MS Office and other relevant software
 Information gathering and monitoring
 Polished personal presentation with confidence and people person.
