SYLLABUS

ÁREA / SUBJECT ARTS 6º - Ruth Vallés (2019 – 2020)

OBJETIVOS / OBJECTIVES:

- To develop habits of individual and teamwork, of effort and responsibility, as well as attitudes
of trust in oneself, criticism, initiative, curiosity, interest and creativity in the learning and
entrepreneurship.

-To know, to understand and to respect the different cultures and the differences among people,
the equality of rights and opportunities between men and women and the non-discrimination of
disabled people.

- To provide students with an education that develops their personality and their mental and
physical capacities, no matter what conditions exist (focusing on diversity).

- To use different representations and artistic expressions, developing aesthetic sensibility,


creativity and the ability to enjoy of works and artistic manifestations and to begin in the
construction of visual and audiovisual proposals.

- To develop students’ capacities, in line with competence-based education.

- To develop their affective capacities in every aspect of their personality and in their relationship
to the others.

ESTÁNDARES: / TARGETS:
Block 1:
- 2.1. Elabora una película de animación utilizando la técnica
de stopmotion.

Block 2:
- 1.1. Define las características del color.
- 1.2. Señala las características de un color que le ha sido
mostrado.
- 1.4. Realiza composiciones con una gama cromática.
- 1.5. Conoce el concepto e identifica las parejas de colores complementarios.
- 2.2. Compone obras abstractas con la intención de transmitir
ideas y emociones.
- 3.1. Utiliza las cualidades expresivas de las témperas en sus composiciones.

Block 3:
- 3.3. Realiza composiciones escultóricas utilizando cuerpos geométricos elaborados por el propio
alumno.
- 4.1. Mide las partes de una figura plana y la reproduce utilizando los instrumentos propios de
dibujo.
- 4.2. Cuida y aprecia la limpieza y la precisión en la elaboración de dibujos geométricos.
- 7.1. Conoce y comprende el término de escala.

CONTENIDOS / CONTENTS:
FIRST TERM
 Primary, secondary and tertiary colours. Abstract art and artists. Composition of flat
figures.
 Preparation of Halloween decoration materials.
 Preparation of Christmas decoration materials.

SECOND TERM

 Geometric figures.
 Preparation of St Patrick’s Day decoration materials.
 Preparation of Carnivals decoration material.

THIRD TERM

 Animated film (stopmotion, goanimate)

METODOLOGÍA / METHODOLOGY:
▪ It is directed at goal achievement. It is especially directed at developing the basic
competences. For this purpose, the methodology focuses on adequately developing skills,
with autonomy and personal initiative, in aspects of life.
 Presents significant learning. In order for learning to contribute to pupil development, it
is essential to establish links between prior and new learning. This is done by way of
activities and tasks with clear objectives, adapted to pupil needs and interests, assuring
that new learning is both functional and useful.
 It is active and participative. Activities are presented in a way that requires active pupil
participation, which in turn favours autonomous learning capacity.
 Should be motivating. Motivation is achieved naturally by showing the pupil immediate
usefulness of learning, but it is also addressed in a specific manner since there are
materials for this purpose.

ATENCIÓN A LA DIVERSIDAD / DIFFERENTIATION:
Generally, children with special needs do not usually need adaptations in this area, but if it is
necessary:
- Adapt the material by lowering the content level.
- Greater control and help to those groups that need it to make their work more dynamic and fluid
and to avoid conflicts.
CRITERIOS DE EVALUACIÓN / EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Block 1:
- 2. Elaborar una película animada utilizando la técnica de. animación stopmotion.

Block 2:
- 1. Define e identifica las características del color (tono, luminosidad y saturación) de forma oral
y por escrito y las utiliza en sus creaciones variando de manera intencionada los colores
utilizados.
- 2. Comprende el arte abstracto como una forma de expresión distinta a la que ofrece la
representación figurativa.
- 3. Conoce las posibilidades gráficas y la técnica del uso de rotuladores.

Block 3:
- 3. Identificar los principales cuerpos geométricos y construir los mismos a partir de su
desarrollo.
- 4. Medir los elementos de una figura plana utilizando como unidad de medida el milímetro y
copiar el dibujo utilizando los instrumentos de dibujo (regla, escuadra, cartabón y compás).
- 7. Conocer y comprender el término de escala aplicándolo cambiando de escala un dibujo
sencillo.
- 8. Comprender las características de los cuerpos geométricos y construirlos a partir de sus
desarrollos.
