INCOMING AND FINAL INSPECTION

Incoming inspection refer to the inspection of the lot created after
goods receipt from the supplier whereas final inspection refer to the
inspection of the lot created after production order confirmation i.e.
when the part has been manufactured and no production activity is
pending in context to that component.

Incoming inspection include all the material that is being purchased

and are needed to be checked by Receiving quality. It’s very
compulsory to have efficient result recording as it directly affect the
quality scores of the suppliers.

Inspection type for incoming inspection is 01 and inspection type for

final inspection is 04.

Transaction Code: QA32

Same transaction code is being used which was preferred in FOA/In

process inspection.

Select the

 Select the row for which result recording is to be done and click
on results (or press CTRL+SHIFT+F5) to get the new screen.

Note: Its very much similar to the result recordings in FOA/In-process

Inspection.

Result recording
to be done in

 Result recording to be done as required. All the results to be

recorded and then finally the previous screen can be seen which
was seen after running T Code QA32.

Note: Result recording are basically divided into two sections, one is
attributive i.e. result recording on the basis of visual inspection and

the other one is quantitative i.e. result recording on the basis of
dimensional inspection and require some values to get filled in
required fields.

Select the row

usage decision

Usage decision is being done for assigning a decision for the current
lot i.e. acceptance/rejection of the lot.

 Select the row for which result recording has been done and
then click on usage decision (or press CTRL+SHIFT+F5) to get the
next screen.

Note: UD for all inspection lot can be done by selecting all

rows/multiple rows (press F5) whose result recording has been done.

 Click on the search icon to get the pop up screen to see the list of
usage decision.
 Appropriate usage decision as per result recording to be
selected.

Click on search
icon of STLOC to
select the
storage location

 Enter Quantity in unrestricted use i.e. OK quantity

 Enter Quantity in Sample usage if required e.g. testing
 Enter Quantity in blocked stock if quantity is not accepted.

 Click on search icon or press F4 in storage location field and
define proper storage location for each type of stock.

Then press CTRL+S to save the file. Inspection for 01 type material i.e.
Incoming inspection is finished now.

FINAL INSPECTION (04 TYPE)
Same process is being followed in 04 type inspection as that was
followed in 01 type inspection.

The list can be obtained by selecting any of the three
criterions and for quality inspection click on “select only
inspection lots without a usage decision”.
