ClimateTalk Alliance Lunches New Standards For Zoning
At the Fall Member Meeting, the ClimateTalk Alliance also welcomed new members eControls, Honeywell and Jackson Systems, furthering its goal to create a membership base comprised of major leaders within the HVAC, water heater and zoning equipment markets. These industry leaders join the current lineup of now 24 ClimateTalk Alliance members who are working to drive the future of ClimateTalk Standards.
As we celebrate the first anniversary of the ClimateTalk Alliance, its promising to see how far weve come and the momentum weve built by demonstrating that our vision for an open standard can work, said John Brown chief engineer at EWC Controls who also chairs the ClimateTalk Information Model Working Group, responsible for the development of all new application profiles. Developing new application profiles that adhere to the ClimateTalk Information Model is key to ensuring that we can offer solutions that will foster an ecosystem of interoperable HVAC, zoning, water heater and other smart grid devices.
