tive of their club. To learn more about the auction, call
Kaci Daniel or Courtney Wesner at the Orange County
Extension Office (672-1361). They’ll be happy to an-
swer any questions you may have.

What options do buyers have regarding animals

1) Process the animal at a local facility. Volunteers
will transport animals to Rollins Meat Processing or
Fauquier’s Finest. The buyer is responsible for all pro-
cessing fees and communication with the processor.
2) Sell the animal to the market for “floor price.” If a
buyer does not wish to keep the animal, he/she may
sell the animal to a local market for the advertised
price the night of the sale. Hauling is provided by auc-
tion volunteers.
