1. Suggest a timber floor for a space of 5.5m × 8m. Draw the


plan and detail section. 10

2. Draw the isometric detail of a timber staircase to show


construction details of a staircase. 10

3. Draw the following details (any two). 10


a) Fixing details of timber canopy
b) Herringbone strutting
c) Timber built up truss, elevation

4. A cycle shed 3m × 10m long is to be provided with timber lean


to roof using clay tiles. Draw details to suitable scale. 10
a) Roof plan
b) Cross section
c) Two details

5. Front lawn of a house is to be provided with timber canopy of


2.5m × 2.5m. Draw plan, elevation and section with two
joinery detail of post and canopy joist. 10

6. Draw plan, elevation and section of a wardrobe with dressing


unit for a master bed room. Give sufficient detail of joinery
and material. 10

7. A Recreation wall of size 7500mm × 12000mm is to be


provided with timber truss. The truss is supported on 350 mm
thick brick masonry. Draw key plan, section to state 1:50. Draw
enlarged detail at the support end and at the ridge. 10

8. a cantilever timber balcony of 1200mm × 900mm is to be


provided with bed room. Draw details of balcony to suitable
scale sharing. 10
