WADE
Responding to the most common
arguments with LOVE and LOGIC.
Questions invite conversation.
Start with a question.
LISTEN. Ask another question.
Then share a fact with love.
MY BODY, MY CHOICE?

Ask: What do you mean by "choice"? What are you choosing?

At what point do you think there is a separate body of a child?
Embryology textbooks confirm that at the moment of conception a separate, unique human is
created with his/her own unique DNA and his/her own body.
Abortion is brutal, painful violence against a child's body.
The one-time choice of abortion robs someone else of a lifetime of choices and prevents him/her
from ever exercising his/her rights.

WILL WOMEN'S HEALTH BE IN DANGER?

Ask: Why do you think that?

Did you know abortion clinics are not inspected by the health department?
If a mother's life is in danger, early delivery is a much safer option then abortion.
There is no reason to kill the baby before early delivery.
Babies born at 21 weeks have survived and thrived.

ABORTION HELPS WOMEN?

Ask: Do you believe in women's rights because more girls are aborted than boys?
Do you believe in the dignity of mothers?
Would you suggest to a poor community that they begin killing their born children to escape poverty?
There is real FREE help for women.
There are only about 30 abortion clinics in Illinois, but there are over 120 FREE Pregnancy Resource Centers
Abortion hurts women physically, emotionally and spiritually..

IT'S NOT A BABY?

Ask: What is it? At what point does it become a human?
Abortion is the human rights issue of our day. It is discrimination based on location and
developmental stage.
Something nonhuman does not become human by getting older and bigger; whatever is human
must be human from the beginning.

WHAT ABOUT DIFFICULT CASES?

Ask: Are those the only cases where you think abortion is OK?
Are there other crimes where you think it will help the victim to kill a child?
In studies of women who became pregnant from rape, 98% of those who aborted regretted the
abortion. 0% of those who had the baby regretted giving birth.
Abortion does not undo the rape. Those who have had an abortion after rape say it only makes the
trauma worse because now they themselves have committed a crime against an innocent person.
