TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT & TRANSPORTATION
• Completed and commissioned Ikoyi network of roads.
• Completed and commissioned Oniru network of roads, Victoria Island.
• Completed and commissioned Ijede Road Phase 1 in Ikorodu.
• Completed and commissioned 1.4 km dual carriage Pen- Cinema Bridge, Agege.

• Injected 100 high-medium capacity busses for standard routes
• Lagos Bus Service Limited (LBSL) celebrated the 10 million passenger ridership as an
unprecedented landmark achievement.
• Created 700 jobs for Lagosians via LBSL operations.
• Did 110 palliatives and 361 sectional rehabilitations on roads across the state.
• Rehabilitated over 832 inner roads via the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC).
• Reconfigured 6 Junction/Roundabouts under Traffic Management Intervention Plan
(TMIP).
• Painted a total number of 30 roads, approximately, 428.97 Kerbs and Medians.
• Marked 64 roads, approximately 100.66kms through which over 3,000 youths were
engaged.
• Inaugurated, kitted and deployed 1,017 new LASTMA officers to various locations as Traffic
Managers.
• Commenced Cashless Toll Payment at the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge in order to reduce traffic
gridlock along the axis.
• Launched Articulated and Allied Vehicle Number Plates [AVNP] for safe motoring in the
metropolis.
• Added 65 high capacity buses to the existing fleet to ease commuting.
• Commissioned eight new ferries, which have ferried over 305,000 passengers since the
commencement of commercial operation in February, 2020.
• Launched a mobile application designed to facilitate easy access to water transportation
services in the State.
• Kicked off the Clean-up Campaign on waterways.
• Handed 15 brand new vehicles and 26 motorbikes to the Traffic Enforcement Team.
• Recommenced construction work on the strategic Lagos/Badagry Expressway; and first
phase of the road from Agboju to Trade Fair already completed.
• Commenced reconstruction and upgrading of strategic roads such as the 6.05 kilometer
Phase 1 Road from Itamaga to Ewu Elepe town, the 7.8 kilometers Owutu-Agric-Ishawo
Road Phase 1 and Bola Tinubu-Igbogbo-Imota Road.
• Short-listed 8 contractors for the construction of the 4th Mainland Bridge.
• Commenced the construction of 19.39-kilometre road network in Ijegun-Ijagemo and
Ijedodo in Ojo Local Government.
• Massive repair on the Ojota stretch of Ikorodu Road and Motorways – Kudirat Abiola Way,
Apongbon Highway and Lekki-Epe Expressway from Abraham Adesanya to Eleko Junction
among others.
• Reconstruction and upgrading of Igbogbo-Bola Ahmed Tinubu-Igbe Road, Ikorodu –
ongoing
• Commenced the rehabilitation of the 660m length loop Road Oregun and construction of
two 30m long Bridges across the Odo-Alaro canal.
• Embarked on the construction of the Agric-Access Road, Phase II, Igando, and the Deep
Sea Port road and the Lekki-Ijebu-Ode-Ore Expressway.
• The rehabilitation of Oba Sekumade Road is on-going, while Ipakodo, Ikorodu; Ijegun-
Egbe Road and Ishuti Road, Igando has been completed.
• Completed the Samuel Ekundayo/Toga road in Badagry LGA, Ishefun-Camp Davies-Ijon
road network in Alimosho LGA, boundary roads with bridge (Phase II) to complement the
network of twenty-one roads and two bridges in the axis.
• Completed the Aradagun-Imeke-Iworo-Ajido-Epeme road(phase II) to complement the
earlier concluded phase 1
• Commenced the Multi-level facility (car park) Onikan designed to accommodate 384 cars
is at 83% completion, and another multi-Agency office complex with a capacity for over 700
vehicles.
• Embarked on the rehabilitation and upgrading of the 6km phase I of 11 km long Ijede
road.
• Embarked on the construction of Lekki Regional Road, which include the Lekki free trade
zone, Lekki Ports, Dangote Petrochemical Plant, Lekki Airports etc
• Embarked on 90 palliatives and 261 sectional rehabilitations in Agege; Ajeromi Ifelodun;
Alimosho; Amuwo-Odofin; Apapa; Badagry; Epe; Eti-Osa; Ifako-Ijaiye; Ikeja; Ikorodu; Kosofe;
Lagos Island; Lagos Mainland; Mushin; Oshodi-Isolo; Shomolu and Surulere.
• Restricted activities of motorcycles & tricycles in six LGAs & nine LCDAs to ensure safety of
lives.
• Completed and commissioned the new Vehicle Inspection Services headquarters; and
deployed USSD Service (*554*381#) for verification of road worthiness certificate.

HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT


HEALTH
• Completed and commissioned Epe Mother and Child Center (MCC)
• Completed and commissioned Eti-Osa Mother and Child Center (MCC), Ajah.
• Completed and commissioned Badagry Mother and Child Center (MCC).
• Inaugurated Igando Mother and Child Centers (MCCs).
• Reconstruction of the New Massey’s Street Children Hospital on course. When completed,
it will be the biggest Children Hospital in Africa.
• Comprehensive renovation of public health facilities ongoing at the Ebute-Meta Health
Centre, Harvey Road Health Centre, General Hospital, Odan, Lagos, General Hospital, Isolo
and Ketu-Ejirin Health Centre.
• New health facilities such as the Permanent 300 Bed Isolation Centre, Yaba, Infectious
Disease Centre, Yaba, Infectious Diseases Research Institute, Yaba Doctors’ Quarters, and
Gbagada among others are billed for construction.
• Supported 15 families of Persons Living With Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome with
financial assistance of N1million to N2.5million each
• Activated one Oxygen Plant at Yaba for COVID-19
• Established 10 Tri and Oxygen Centres
• Treated over 250, 000 Lagosians freely via the partnership with BOSKOH Health Mission
International and the Benjamin Olowojebutu Foundation.
• The Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA) inaugurated new centres across
the state.
• Revamped the Jigi Bola initiative

ENVIRONMENT
• 96 primary drainage channels were cleared across the state, 222 secondary channels were
also worked on, out of which 146 have been completed, while 76 are ongoing.
• The Dr. Oluyomi Abayomi Finnih Recreational Park, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos was completed
and commissioned.
• Commissioned a mini-effluent treatment plant that would determine toxicity before being
released into the atmosphere.
• Emergency Flood Abatement Gang (EFAG) successfully maintained, cleaned and de-
flooded 66 (nos.) highways secondary collector drains and de-flooded several areas across
the State
• 192 secondary collectors spread across the 20 Local Government Councils and 37 Local
Council Development Areas.
• 44(nos.) new Collectors drain under construction at Abraham Adesanya Collector
Drain/Dredging of System 63, Lekki Expressway to de-flood Abraham Adesanya Estate, Lekki
Expressway, Ogombo and its adjoining areas, the Freedom way Channel, Lekki, the Fish
Farm Collector Drain, Ikorodu, the Edun Alaran Collector Drain and Orchid road Collector
Drains off Lekki-Epe Expressway.
• LAWMA Academy was inaugurated to promote environmental cleanliness.
• The Olusosun Dumpsite was expanded to 42 acres to accommodate more waste and
ensure that trucks can have a quicker turnaround time.
• LAWMA began a Lagos at 4am programme aimed at stemming the tide of indiscriminate
waste disposal.
• LAWMA acquired a Briquette facility, which can process about 1,700 kg of sawdust per
hour, in Agbowa (Ikorodu Division).
• LAWMA launched the Lagos State Blue Box Recycling.
• LAWMA achieved significant improvement in collection and disposal of solid waste, raising
the capacity of PSP operators from 320 compactor trips to 700 compactor trips daily
• LAWMA launched an Own a bin initiative recently mandating all tenements to acquire and
own waste bins (240L household plastic wheeler bins).
• LASPARK regenerated the Outer Marina Park, restoring it to its previous beautiful and
aesthetically pleasing state.
• LASPARK commenced the landscaping and beautification of Opebi–Toyin Street Triangular
Layby.
• LASPARK also began the beautification of the perimeter area of the decommissioned
dumpsite at Abule-Egba.
• LASPARK re-modelled and upgraded the garden at Ebute Ipakodo, Ikorodu into a
Recreational Park.
• LASAA Launched the 2020 Mobile Advert Stickers to enhance a more effective regulatory
process for mobile advertisement
• LASAA successfully processed and registered applicants wishing to practice outdoor
advertising within the state as New Outdoor Advertising Practitioners.

Financial Reforms
• Earned Fitch Ratings’ national long-term rating from AA+ (nga) to AAA (nga) for its good
standing in terms of its debt sustainability, and resilience. This gives the state a stable
outlook. It was published in Fitch’s 2020/2021 rating report.
• Held the 8th Lagos State Economic Summit through which 11 resolutions aimed at further
enriching the state’s economy were developed.
• Trained 1000 accountants on 2020 Financial Act
• Graduated over 15, 780 Tradesmen and Artisans in order to upgrade their skills.
• Reduced Land Use Charge (LUC) rates and enacted the 2020 Property LUC Law and
Regulations.
• Debt Sustainability ratio has dropped due to reduction in debt service and increase in
revenue
• Introduced the weekly monitoring tool for revenue generating agencies known as
“F.O.R.C.E” an acronym for, “Focus On Revenue Creation Everyday & Everywhere”.
• Signed the $629 million financing facility with the China Harbour Engineering Company
[CHEC] for the completion of the Lekki Deep Seaport project.
• Completed the Lekki Free Trade Zone Jetty and off-loading platform.
• Signed a $10 million matching fund aimed at impacting over 15,000 youths with skills and
internships in the first phase for USADF youth-led enterprise.
• Facilitated Lagos State Executive and stakeholders in workshop aimed for Liquefied
Petroleum Gas (LPG) in cooking across Lagos State
• Launched National Gas Vehicles (NGV) pilot scheme and Assess Impact on Emissions
Reduction and Environmental Improvement
• Organized the maiden edition of Badagry Youth Oil and Gas Conference with over 250
youth along with students, NGO and Civil Servants in attendance.
• Set up a committee with the NNPC to improve monitoring of oil and gas infrastructure
within the State towards minimizing fire disaster and preventing loss of lives and property
Housing
• Inaugurated the 100 unit Bayview Estate in Ikate-Elegushi, Lekki
• Completed and commissioned the 360 home units, comprising 120 units (one bedroom),
120 units (two bedroom) and 120 units (three bedroom) in Igbogbo in the Ikorodu.
• Completed and inaugurated 252 home units (2-bedroom bungalow apartments) at the
Lagos State Public Affordable Housing Scheme, Idale in Badagry
• Completed and commissioned 84 home units (1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments) in
LagosHoms Lekki, Phase 2
• Completed and commissioned the 132 home units (88 home units and 44 home units of
3-bedroom apartments respectively) at the BRF Housing Estate, Iponri, Surulere.
• Completed and commissioned Courtland Villas, behind Alhaji Femi Okunnu Estate,
Igbokushu, Lekki with 120 units of 4-bedroom, maisonettes and BQs was completed and
handed over. It has additional amenities such as swimming pool, car parks, community hall,
5-aside football pitch as well as water and sewage treatment plant.
• Handed over apartments’ keys to 492 beneficiaries of the Lateef Kayode Jakande Housing
Estate, Igando during the administration’s maiden rent-to-own housing initiative.
• Set to deliver 360 housing units at Igbogbo in Ikorodu, Odo-Onosa-Ayandelu Housing
Scheme in Agbowa LCDA with a total of 660 homes and the remodeled Lekki Apartments,
Ikate are all at various stages of completion.
Food Security
• Inaugurated the Agricultural Productive Assets at the 2021 Agricultural Value Chains
Enterprise Activation Programme.
• Unveiled 5-year food security roadmap
• Supported over 879 farmers and Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) across
poultry, aquaculture and rice value chains from the Lagos Agro-Processing, Productivity
Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support (APPEALS) Project.
• Hosted the Seafood Festival to project the aquaculture and seafood potentials of the State
to both local and international markets.
• Held the maiden edition of the Eko-City Farmers’ Market with a total transaction of
N7.9million
• Facilitated direct supply of fresh produce such as tomatoes, pepper, plantain, vegetables
and fruits to the 53 collection centers in the State.
• Commissioned the FADAMA Food Market at Agbalata, Badagry to promote the structuring
of agricultural produce marketing.
• Trained 575 women and youths, comprising 240 in aquaculture, 300 in poultry, and 35,
under the APPEALS project in rice farming.
• Integrated rice mill at Imota to cater for 25% of our national rice needs and create over
250,000 job opportunities in the upstream and downstream sectors of the value chain.
• Completed evaluation of EOIs for the development of power plant for Imota Rice mill.
• Supported the production of about 335,000 loaves of bread under the Eko Coconut Bread
initiative.
• Established semi-mechanized abattoir in Oko-Oba in collaboration with private sector.
• Hosted the maiden International Coconut Summit to explore, exhibit and evolve new ideas
for sustainable development of the coconut value chain in the State.
• Organized a Mentorship seminar for over 1,000 Youths in the State on the theme:
“AGRICPRENEUR: Strategy for Wealth Creation”.
Empowerment
• Empowered 1,050 vulnerable women and indigent residents in the State with equipment
such as sewing machines, hairdryers and clippers, pepper grinding machines, generators
and popcorn making machines during the 2019 Mega Empowerment programme.
• The State was declared as the ‘Best State Supporting Artisans’ in the Federation at a
programme organized by Global Sight Services Limited in partnership with the Federal
Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment and the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises of
Nigerian [SMEDAN].
• Empowered 600 residents with ingenious business idea to the tune of N4billion through
the Lagos State Empowerment Fund [LSETF] W-Initiative in collaboration with Access Bank
Plc to empower Lagosians.
• Empowered 200 household heads for orphans and vulnerable children in the State with 76
Grinding machine, 69 Sewing machine, 10 tools, 10 deep freezers , 15 Hair Drying
machine, 10 Braving Equipment and 7 Ovens among others
• Provided palliatives for the Persons Living With Disabilities (PLWD).
Social-Economic Interventions
• Launched the Mother, Infant, and Child (MICH) programme
• Supported 3,673 businesses with N1.156 Billion.
• Supported 1, 835 businesses with N939.97million and saved a total of 10,005 direct jobs
40,020 indirect jobs via the MSME Recovery Fund.
• Initiated the N 5billion EduFund in partnership with First Bank and EdFin MFB.
• Set up N1billion Fund targeted at businesses in the tourism, hospitality, entertainment,
arts and culture sectors – both loans and grants.
• Introduced N1billion Agric Value Chain Fund targeted at businesses that operate within
the Agric value chain.
• Trained 5,908 and placed 706 in jobs in partnership with, United Nations Development
Programme (UNDP), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and
United States African Development Fund (USADF), Microsoft, Coursera.
• Supported 152 businesses and persons in the tech eco-system under the Lagos Innovate
Programme.
• Trained 78 persons and placed 12 under the Talent Development Programme (TDP) -a
student loan programme aimed at training young persons in tech skills and placing them in
employment.
• Rescued 48,000 households from poverty through various social intervention programmes.
• Trained 1,050 rural women in agricultural related enterprises such as cultivation of
vegetables, cassava planting and cultivation and garri processing among others.
• Supported 2,704 Lagos residents whose means of livelihood had been disrupted by
COVID-19.
• Assisted 500 women with various cash grants Rural Women Grants from the Federal
Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.
• Produced over 6,000 graduates yearly from the State’s 20m Skill Acquisition Centres.
• Supported 18 outstanding students from the Skill Acquisition Centres with cash grants
• Produced 500,000 face masks via the Skill Acquisition Centres for public use.
• Empowered over 1000 residents at the third Phase of the Mega Empowerment
programme.
• Empowered 200 household heads for orphans and vulnerable children in the State with
various skills and tools.
• Empowered 200 household heads from the 55 registered groups of people living with
HIV/AIDS.
• Trained 51,514 graduates for the Graduate Internship programme designed to expose
Interns to hands-on work experience.
• Distributed 12,000 COVID-19 relief packages to Tradesmen and Artisans in the State to
cushion the impact of COVID-19.
• Trained 2,000 Tradesmen and Artisans (1,500 Artisans and 500 Tradesmen).
• 21, 262 residents benefitted from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd tranches of the conditional Cash
Transfer Payment Exercise.
• Rescued 3041 Beggars/Destitute/Mentally Challenged people and Street Children off the
Streets of Lagos
• Re-integrated 178 street children back to the society after undergoing various
interventions.
