SOUND THE CHARGE – Likes turf and Pino stable often excels with absentees; most effective setting pace. PASSPORT – Just five lengths behind after layoff in solid field at Monmouth; often close but just 2-for-41 career. HEARTNESS – Ness runner competed well here in past but turf is new; should ensure contested fractions.
