encourage the students to use sensory details in understanding text.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner transfer learning by: identifying sensory images
by the means of poem and making sentences with a sensory image on it.

Activity: GET READY TO RUMBLE!

 The teacher will show pictures one by one.


 The students will think of a word that comes on their mind when they see the particular
pictures. Eyes-sight, tongue-taste, ear-hearing, nose-smell, hand-touch.
 She will introduce those pictures to identify the sensory images and arrange the rumble
words.
 She will process the answer of the students.

Activity 1: GUESS WHAT!


 The teacher will present a poem entitled “FRESH BAKED BREAD’’
 The students will find some sensory images present in the poem.
 The student will answer what they see to the poem.
 She will process the answer of the students.

Process question:

3. How does sensory images contribute to the meaning of the poem?

 The teacher will give them time to write what they want. And students will share
their answer in class.
