Physical Recreation

- Activity wherein people tend to exert efforts and bodily functions in performing the action
during free time

Examples:
● Playing volleyball
● Basketball

Objectives of Physical Recreation:


● To relax and unwind
● To socialize and meet new people
● To enhance creativeness
● To have self-fulfillment

Mental Recreation
- Activity wherein the kid is doing the functions with less body movement

● Playing mobile/computer games
● Reading books
● Listening to music
● Watching a live performance
● Playing an instrument
● Singing
● Playing board games
● Meditating
Objectives of Mental Recreation:
● To nourish and exercise the mind
● To stimulate and improve intellectual abilities
● To manage stress and provide sense of balance and self-esteem, which can directly
reduce anxiety and depression
● To socialize

● Mood booster, decreasing symptoms of both depression and anxiety
● Increase self-esteem and self-confidence

- Tourism that centers around a sporting event

- Tourism involves traveling to famous sport-related tourist attractions
- because historic events happened in that place

- Tourism is when a person travels to actively participate in their chosen sport or
travel for other reasons, but taking part in sport is an integral part of their tourism
