We are busy, busy, busy!

I had a great time in Delaware visiting my daughters and grandchildren, never long enough. Leah, our granddaughter had a great birthday. Although, I came home with an upper respiratory infection, gave it to my family there and gave it to Tom. There is nothing like sharing your illness with family! It took Tom & I several weeks to recoup from the virus. We made every effort In the beginning of June to attend our grandson, Andys high school graduation in Delaware.

While I was in Delaware I got word that Joplin, MO had a devastating F-5 tornado that destroyed 1/3 of the town. We have been through the section of the city that was destroyed numerous times and has a special place in our heart as the general headquarters for the Pentecostal Church of God is located in the southern portion of Joplin. We are affliated with the PCG, the offices and college were spared but one of our four churches in Joplin was destroyed. The largest PCG church in Joplin and National Mission Dept are working with FEMA to bring relief in the devastation. Its people uniting together! Please pray for everyone across our nation and world that have been displaced because of the storms. By the time you receive this newsletter we will be on the road heading to Dallas, TX to the Biannual General Convention of the Pentecostal Church of God. It will be busy with board meetings, committee meetings, breakout sessions, missions service, ministries service and business meeting. Tom & I help on the registration committee. It will go by so fast I know my head will be spinning. We will leave on Saturday the 18th from Somerset, PA (going to the prison on 17th then TX). We will be coming back home in the beginning of July, pray for us for travel mercies.

Loved by An Unchanging God by Max Lucado

The plans of the LORD stand firm forever. PSALM 33:11 God will always be the same. No one else will. Lovers call you today and scorn you tomorrow. Companies follow pay raises with pink slips. Friends applaud you when you drive a classic and dismiss you when you drive a dud. Not God. God is always the same (Psalm 102:27). With him there is no variation or shadow due to change (James 1:17). Catch God in a bad mood? Wont happen. Fear exhausting his grace? A sardine will swallow the Atlantic first. Think hes given up on you? Wrong. Did he not make a promise to you? God is not a human being, and he will not lie. He is not a human, and he does not change his mind. What he says he will do, he does. What he promises, he makes come true (Numbers 23:19). Hes never sullen or sour, sulking or stressed. His strength, truth, ways, and love never change. He is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). And because he is, the Lord will be the stability of your times (Isaiah 33:6). Gods plans will never change, because he makes his plans in complete knowledge. Forget hopeful forecasting. He declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). Nothing takes him by surprise. The plans of the Lord stand firm forever (Psalm 33:11). The cross will not lose its power. The blood of Christ will not fade in strength. . . . The Lord Almighty has spokenwho can change his plans? When his hand moves, who can stop him? (Isaiah 14:27). God never changes. ITS NOT ABOUT ME Father God, it is such a comfort to know that you never change. Your grace and your love are inexhaustible. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. You know the beginning of life to the end. Your power never grows weak, and your truth always stands firm. Your plans will never alter. You remain the same forever. We can count on your unfailing mercy. We praise your everlasting name, amen.

Going past the prison walls to take the Love of Jesus.

Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is His name. Jeremiah 50:34 Whatever the Lord pleases He does, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deep places. Psalm 135:6 Trust in the Lord forever, for in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength. Isaiah 26:4

Cost & Population of PA DOC

The above chart & information looks a little bit out of proportion due to the fact of the increasing prison population and the so called cuts. For approximately 2.1 inmates there is 1 doc employee. The prison system is missing the point to reform, retrain and release inmates so they will be productive citizens. Continue to pray for prison reform for inmates to be released not retained. The cycle needs to change!

STAY IN THE HOUSE
Gods desire is to protect us and push back the hand of the enemy from our life. God told Rahab if she believed on the Lord, everyone in her House would be saved. If we will stay in the House of God everyone in our families will be saved. In Psalm 122:1, David said, I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the House of the Lord. There is something about going to the House of the Lord that will lift your spirit and encourage you. Some breakthroughs you cannot receive until you stay in the House. You are not as strong by yourself as you are with others in the power of agreement. There are some situations that you cannot overcome by yourself. There is an anointing when Gods people get into His House. When we join our faith with other believers, we have supernatural strength. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, a threefold cord is not easily broken. The enemy has a way of overpowering us when we are by ourselves. We are not perfect people, but we strengthen each other. In 2nd Chronicles 5 the Word tells us that all the singers and musicians were in one accord. Because of their agreement the power of God shook that place and Gods power fell. Anytime there is agreement between believers, the enemy will be defeated. God tells us not to be unequally yoked. (2nd Corinthians 6:14) He knew if you associate with people that are not in agreement with His word, nothing would work out. The enemys plan is to get you to compromise your walk with the Lord. Continued pg 4 loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us." 1 Thessalonians 2:8

Stay in the House Joshua 2:1, 4, 12-13, 19, 21 NKJV Now Joshua the son of Nun sent out two men from Acacia Grove to spy secretly, saying, Go, view the land, especially Jericho. So they went, and came to the house of a harlot named Rahab, and lodged there.

To Our Family & Friends We love you!

Pastor Toms preaching corner continued Stay in the House There is the tendency when trouble comes for people to run away from God. Make up your mind to stay in the house of the Lord and everything will be alright. Psalm 91 says, If you dwell in the shelter of the most high and abide in the shadow of the almighty, God will be your refuge and your strength. The enemy wants to: Lure you from your place of safety. Get you offended and out of your place of blessing. This is your day to make a decision to Stay In The House of The Lord! Joshua 2:1, 4, 12-13, 19, 21 NKJV
